Thread: Strange thing with BoH this morning

I've got three stacks of 19 use BoH this morning, without experimenting on quantity. Using 3 sullustan gin and 3 aludium, got a 15 use stack without experimenting. Anyone else found this? Last night I was getting 8-9 use stacks with basically the same ingredients.

Also - after having run through an azzload of fruits, I've determined I've been selling BoH way too cheaply.

Just a few days into Master and learning fast.

Were any of the components you used "old", like pre-patch, well before the last patch? At one point we were all able to make like 20 stacks foods because after the patch the components made pre-patch were causing it.

no.. i get my 22 use BoHs by using radioactive thats 1000 OQ 996 PE in my aludium. Then experiment the aludium out the wazoo for quantity then use all 6 in the BoH. I also use the BEST rice and oats in the entire galaxy, (some several weeks old).

My latest batch is 20 uses with a 550 buff for 510s.

Maybethese not so out of whack then.

I had rather trusted thatingredients and experimentationin the aludium wasunimportant,- as so often components seem to have little to know effect on the finished food. These latestaludiums contained considerably better ingredients than those I had used earlier.

hm!

Using good resources and experimentation on components definitely does makea difference (I just wish we could see the stats). I can definitely see a difference in foods made from experimented alcohol, dough, carbosyrup, soypro, cake mix, etc, especially in the higher level foods.

Now if they could just get using regularitems as components working. From some pretty comprehensivetesting, experimentation on Starshines has no effect on Sunburns, only the gas's quality. What about Vegeparsines made from better Veghashes? I haven't gotten that high up Entrees yet.

Oh the ingredients do matter. My last batch of fishnak didn't have a penalty to action, it actually had a small plus!

One place I have found where ingredients absolutely do not matter is when you are making Starshine Surprise for use in Tatooine Sunburn. I have run tests using two fully experimented Starshines with absolute best ingredients and another using Starshines made from Moenia swamp water and toilet gas. The end resulting Tatooine Sunburns were indentical. So do not waste your good ingredients on the Starshines!

Yeah. That's the thing that informed my view of the whole matter.

This is all very good to know.

I think its generally accepted that subs from the artisan tree (ie starshine) do not have any effect on foods in the Chef tree (experimented or not).

Though I'm sure there are exceptions, this bit of knowledge has held true for me.

Strangely, no. The aludiums weremanu-factoried over night, and the cereals were harvested within the last two weeks.

*shrug* You know, one gets nervous that it is the tip of some terrible iceberg.
