Its not got anything planned for fixing in next patch, our issues aren't properly acknowledged, the devs recently posted smuggler is in need of loving the most(**edit**), and it just isn't interesting, so I quit. Good luck to you all, I hope chef gets fixed soon.

I'm now using the free'd up SP's to go Bio-engineer as the upcoming fixes for it sound pretty cool.

Sorry to see you go . I was figuring they'd start to address chef by the time I got to master (being pokey). With 1.5 boxes to go and only a factory fix, I'm thinking I might beat them to it.

Good luck with bio-engineer, it does sound interesting. I'm losing interest myself, having been master for only a few weeks now. Funny that chef can be a very lucrative profession (I remember all the complaints of chefs in the first couple of weeks when people would not buy our foods ), but whats the point of amassing hundreds of thousands of credits with not much to spend it on. I suppose it does support my clothes shopping sprees

Sorry to see you go, you have made a massive contribution to these forums, but I think many of us are feeling the same way.

The only reason I haven't dropped chef is that my PA needs one, the medics need their Vercupti and Angerian Fishak, and the rest want the sunburns.

If it wasn't for that, Id drop chef now and go pistoleer to compliment my Smuggler

Good luck in gimp profession #2 (AKA Bio Engineer)

I feel ya man. I don't "play" this game anymore. I log in, reload my factorys, log out, and go play EQ. Sad, but true. I can only hope that sometime in the next few months this gets fixed.

Lol gave up my eq account, but i had quite playing over 5 months before and probably wasn't going to start back. Chef for me is a side occupation for being a Master droid engineer. I also have a bit of merchant. I didn't want to do combat and there were all kinds of people living around me, but no chefs! So that's what i decided to be..however I really wish they would fix some of this stuff before i get to master, which is doubtful. (btw..i've only got 1 box in it so far, lol)

Hmm... i do feel same way but ived invested far too much and i have spent so much money on clothes.Dun see myself being a tailor and there are far too many architects... been playing this game for 3weeks now i do hope more people will be interested in food. If not its just a wasted craft.

Sorry to hear that. You are one of the few chefs that made an impression on me and whose name I can remember - for some unknown reason.

May the breath of heaven kiss you in your after-(chef)-life.

oh dear!.. well, some parting thoughts...

No! You can't leave! You have to train me!

Man, stacking Wastril Bread is so much better than playing Jenga!

Oh no!What ARE all these ATSTs doing outside the town? Quick into Saitek's shop! We'll wait them out. Good thing she's turned the place into a cantina. Just our luck. Hey, nice new dress Saitek. What? Oh, you want us to trade something? Sure.. why not.. Thanks! Oh, another? Aw, how sweet. More? Oh, okay, I still have some room left in inventory. Yes - it was good. Yeah, ok, just one more tho. Huh? I'd have to eat some of the others first. Hold on. Ok. Ok, I have some - hey, Saitek, no, noooo more food, aieee...

Strange, all the chefs have begun selling Air Cake under the name "Protein Bar". Oh, and, Hey, look, they're selling Meatlump under the name Wert's Leg.

"Who's that guy behind the bar? Oh, Ihro, WHAT are you doing back there?" "Funny you should ask. Did you know that all I can see of Bothans when they come over here is their warm hats?" :at::

...and in other news today, dancers at the Coronet cantina succumbed to a rare wasting disease called AFK BLOB CANDITIS. Among those carted out this afternoon were the renowned wookie dancer Errgreegrar and sometimes musicianSuvorov Antares. Authorities questioned an aspiring chef visiting from Naboo, who admitted only that a hooded old man had given her a crate of the seemingly innocuous blob candies which she then shared with all arriving cantina entertainers.CorSec isseeking additional suspects even now, but it's unknown just how pervasive this latest trouble has become.

...

May adventure find you everywhere!

Sorry to see you go. If you aren't having fun, then it's probably for the best.

You really have contributed a lot to these boards, and I hope you will visit from time to time to tell us how you are doing. Good luck with your other professions.

Sad to see you go, your experimentation testing was the best I have seen.

Chef just got a little more broken with your departure

Good luck with BE, it does indeed look cool (plus I think you can make a fortune on pet stims).

I know the whole situation is getting pretty bad when one of the OCs [Original Chefs] leaves the fold. Just know we'll be ready to welcome you back with open arms if you ever decide to pick it up again.

Best of luck, and try not to get blindsided when you're out poking those rancors full of needles to get DNA samples. I heard they can be pretty mean.

-edit- Would be master chef that is. Apparently the devs don't really care about fixing the fact that our products are pretty well broken.

So I guess that should read..
