Thread: Please Spam the Devs if you Care for your Chef
Guys, I've been trying to get a response for 3 weeks now on this issue with the food bugs.
I've called, and get put on hold on my bill for 20-30 minutes to be told "It will be fixed, sorry for the inconvenience.
I've written some ranty, temper tantrum posts, I've sent e-mails, I've written calm posts, and I've sent PM's here on the boards to the devs.
My only conclusion is....They are Ignoring us on Purpose, because they DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX IT.
I'd love to be proven wrong. I'd love to see them own up to thier mistake and comment on WHEN it will be fixed, HOW the freak it got broke, WHY we're still dealing with it nearly a month later, and WHO will be responsible for getting this class FIXED.
Please send them some heavy spam! Hit them like porn websites hit public/free email addresses! Hit them like grocery store adverts in your mailbox. Hit them like a wad of dough, and make sure that it sticks properly over all orfices.

Was gonna write something else, and now I remember.
I feel really awful for any other chef who has closed up shop and is considering dropping chef or SWG for it. This is my motivation, and my passion.
Folks paying for beta....makes me think very very evil things. /sigh
I agree something has to be done... I am burning through resources and unable to sell any food at all considering everyone has lost faith in food because of this bug.
How shall we go about doing this?
I propose that we need to get an official chef food bug petition on a large forum and then talk to everyone we know.. customers, friends, guildmates and ask them to post on the thread demanding a fix.

Petition in place
im sure they have it on their to do list.. i actually thought the factory bug and the florals were our biggest issue. there is a annoying work around for this problem but yea it should be fixed asap since this problem always occurs on the field, away from home.
annoying the hell out of the devs isnt going to make them go any faster. its like nagging someone to do something. it may make u feel like youre urging them to workharder but all youre doing is annoying them.

One would think that should be how it should work, that the devs would have a good sense of what the bugs are and their priorities and stick to that. But there's a lot of evidence that the more vocal people are about an issue the more likely it is to get addressed. I kind of think this is not the best way to handle development, but whatever.
fall out tactics had a beter food system then swg ![]()

I have to agree with Ida -- the track record with this game is enough evidence to show that whoever naggs the most and screams loudest gets their issues resolved most quickly.
