Thread: *SOLUTIONS* Magically Appearing Milk?!
Okay, okay. As a chef I have noticed that some drinks require the component known as milk. I am also aware that the only place milk can be found is by looting corpes.
Now he is my question? Where does all that milk come from? Is it magically made with voodoo magic?
I saw this great awsomely, awsome idea on another thread. Why don't the devs. make it so that Scouts can milk animals? Of course they forgot to mention that it should only be of the female variety unless there is some weird creature in which the male has milk, but the point is still taken well and a very good idea.
Another idea, this one of my own, is that there could literally be a type of dairy farm in which creature handlers tame female animals and sell or give them (if they're a really nice CH) to someone who owns one of these farms. However, this type of building would differ from the others as depending on the type of creatures being milked it would not only cost you maintence and power, but it would also cost you a type of grain or meat.
A third solution is one in which CH actually train the creatures for milking purposes so that they can sell them to a Chef in which the Chef can milk the animal.
I really hate to tell you this but....the idea about milking animals is the developers idea. They are going to put it into the next patch.
They had something like your farm idea in beta. Always wished they kept it in the game.
Are they going to put it into the next patch? Hmm...I only read it as a suggestion. I didn't relize. If you could find it in your heart to forgive my ignorance. LOL

Wow, someone's a little behind. Lol, no worries. Next patch and you'll be able to milk anything with nipples ... well, as long as it's herbivore and female and you're a scout.
What I want to know is if they're going to recycle the BE sampling code. If a scout over-milks a Bolle Bol (or some other Herbivore) will it die? 
How do you get milk? I thought you could only get meat skins and bone....
