Thread: Does it bother you?
Let 'em whine. It never bothers me.
Interesting story - when I got to be a master, I went to some of the better players that I associated with, and half of them weren't interested in Fishak, Breath of Heaven or Bivoli. They were experimenting with different combinations of foods that buffed specific areas for their characters.
Those people that focus on only one area will be beaten by those more ingenious players not using a template, or (more specifically) using their own creative template targeted at defeating the "average" great player.
I think the new foods (while they won't be able to super-buff players, which I will miss) will create new rock-paper-scisors kind of matchups that people can use to their advantage.
And for those people saying "I'll never buy another chef product because of the changes", I'll just wait for them to be beaten by someone who DOES use chef products when they weren't. ![]()
No, your not. That was part of the point of this post. I'm sick of making the stuff (fishak) and sick of people treating you like your worthless if you don't.
Just like SirVimes said, we don't need thier bussines. I have plenty of sensible customers without dealing with the jerks.

Well, Ezran and I may have come across a handy trick with barrels, although it requires using a quantity additive, so you won't get the uber stats SirVimes posted with the nutrition one.
The containers give you a multiplier on the base quantity: small glass 1x, large glass 1.5x, cask 3x (it went up tonight from 2x), and (I'm taking Ezran's word for this) 5x for a barrel. The additive is also a multiplier, in the form of a % increase. These two multipliers....um....multiply on top of each other. So a 2 dose BoH in a barrel gets you a 10 dose stack. If you made BoH with both a barrel and a 400 quantity heavy additive (+400% or 5x), that's a 50 dose stack. Ezran dubbed it "crate in a stack". ![]()
25x the doses for 300 non-ferrous, 31 resources for a control unit, 32 resources for a power handler, and whatever's required for the additive seems ok for the occasional single, although getting enough together for a factory run would probably be rough.

Does it bother you when people post things like "if they remove fishak from the game, i will never buy another thing from a chef, because that is all they were ever good for anyway" ?
Doesn't that really just piss you off? I know I am highly insulted by that. Surely I can not be the only one.
(I love those players who think if you don't sell to them or thier guildthat you'll go broke. HAH!)
So, even though I'm still on the fence with the chef buffs, I can't wait to get a third of my whiney customers off my fishak. Err i mean back.
Oh, and most of them fekkin mispell it anyway.

Haha, server wide boycots on certain customers. We can dream.
Seriously though, poison/disease resist food and drinks are gonna be on the top of the best sellers. Fishak has only bought me a few seconds extra when a CM hits me with mind poison. Someone else already said it, but I'd rather avoid being diseased in the first place than to use the Fishak just to buy more time.
