i will not deny the holocron made me do it, i have mastered 8 other classes before the holocron. i've done the doctor and combat medic grind but this is the first "elite" crafting class i've jumped into. Like i've said in another thread it feels like its sucking the life out of me, any help would be greatly appreciated.

A couple of ideas that might help the grind go a little smoother (and grate less against your sanity):

1. Hang out in a cantina and chat with others while you grind. It may slow you down a bit, but should make the journey more enjoyable.

2. Get some music going in the background. Personally, I like to have music from the Star Wars movies going, but any sort of music should help.

Turn on the TV, or something else to provide you with some background distraction.

Only grind for as long as you can stand at a time. If you force yourself to do it for 6 hours straight, you'll get burnt out VERY quickly.

Be sure to have a **edit**-up wrist splint ready for the case of carpal tunnel to come.

That's about all.

-edit- Would be master chef that is. Apparently the devs don't really care about fixing the fact that our products are pretty well broken.

So I guess that should read..

Now you know why chefs have been complaining so much.

Chef professino is a neat idea for role playing

The execution of it sucks.

I highly recommend:

1) Beer or other alcoholic substitute.

2) Nyquil - the entire bottle.

Well the way I look at it, go do something that you actually DO enjoy for awhile, forget about chef. Yeah, the holocron "made" you do it, etc. but just leave those two boxes in chef, they're only taking up, what, like 20 skill points? And go do something else for a few weeks. Then come back, grind some more until you get sick of it, then go do something else. If it's going to ruin your gameplay experience just so you can become a Jedi, what's the point? You might as well just have fun with the game. You're not going to be the first Jedi on your server anyway.

Just my 2 creds.

Have fun doing whatever you do, but make sure to save every credit you get. Then go buy millions of credits worth of resources (sure the exacts are posted here somewhere), take a weekend off, grab some bandaids, hit a macro, and grind it all from friday - sunday. I know I got Entrees IV and Desserts I - IV all in one day WITHOUT a macro... think it was a 30 hour day though...

I didn't think it was that bad with a macro assist. I would grind on the way to lairs for my missions andchecking harvesters. I took three weeks, but only do to the fact i harvested all the resources myself. Plus i got two holos during that time period while grinding.
