Hey everyone, Im thinking of going back and adding part of Chef to my template in order to make crates of Brandy. However, I was wondering if someone could taker th etime to let me know what all components (resources) and subcomponents are need. Also, what stats are important on the resources. Sorry to be so ignorant but after all, Im a TKM and master Rifleman. What do I know about making good brandy lol.

Thanx in advance.

For one stack of bio-enhanced Brandy: (1/25th of a crate)

2 identical Alcohol (each take 10 cereal, stats not important)

20 Berries
20 Fruits
(Stats on these are high PE/OQ for buff size, high flavor/OQ for duration, high DR/OQ for filling, high PE/DR for stack size)

1 container:
For a stack of 6-7 use small glass (10 gemstone)
For a stack of 9 use large glass (100 gemstone)
For a stack of 18-21 use a cask (150 crystalline gemstone, 2 identical Trim)
Trim is made by tailors, each takes 20 fiberplast and 5 polymer. They run about 3k per crate in my galaxy.
Stats are not important in containers.

1 medium nutritional food additive: requires 15 water (stats not important) and one Broad-Spectrum Nutrients. This is a bio-engineer item. Each unit takes 20 meat and 60 flora. Important stats are flavor, PE and OQ. Good BSN's run about 40k per crate in my galaxy.

You'll also need a factory, since identical components are required.

Good luck, you're going to need it.

Trim can use any inert petrochem (doesn't have to be polymer).

I have to ask the question all the chefs here are thinking and don't feel like saying because you seem nice. Are you sure you want to take on all those skillboxes just to make one item you can easily buy from someone who's dedicated to the profession? Finding quality ingredients is a massive undertaking that I think a lot of new chefs don't realize when they start out.

That always worries me about weaponsmiths too, who have to master for their experimentation (to compete) and then only do, for eg, melee weapons. So many wasted skillpoints just to make a handful of desirable items. Maybe an architect or tailor could get away with it, but when resource quality matters, I dunno. It would depress me.

hehe dont bother, just wait till you notice it drop and drink another by clearin ure combat queu then double clicking the brandy. As often you wont need to drink one but will do anyway due to the macro or you will /clear to get rid of your cob macro and accidentally clear the brandy one at the same time and end up fighting without it

Just made some 420/45.5 min brandy. While I would be happy selling this I was wondering if I should take a point from the buff and add it to duration, or just leave it as it is?

Leave it as it is imo, anything over +400 is just bonous.

Leave it as is. 45 minutes is the key mark for duration and +400 is the key mark for power.

Small Glass = x1 Multiplier on Quantity
Large Glass = x1.5
Cask = x3

With an average qty of 6, you're looking to use Casks to get 18 shots on Brandy (21 is possible as well).

Casks require 150 Crystaline Gemstone and 2 factory made trim (Tailor item)

Hope this helps!
