Thread: Prices for upper tier chef food?
What does our beloved wastril bread look like with maximum nutritional value? What about the master chef dishes?
That way it would be easier to tell how much they might sell for.

Unfortunately, some of the higher tier stuff costs more in resources, and has worse buffs.
Thats exactly why I sell based on buff and not resources, lets face it, most customers don't look at wastril bread and say "oh this obviously took 45 resources to make, well then that seems like a reasonable price." most likely they will look and say "oh the buffs are good on that, thats a good buy"
As a marksman I buy a lot of buffs and have no idea, nor do I care, what it needs to make one, but I buy based on how good the buff is and how long it lasts.
I think I paid 30 cr for aircake and 20 for K-18 rations and thought that was super cheap. Also spent 700cr each on tattooineburn before, bought 8 of em' I think, thought that was a pretty fair price.
You may want to throw some up at different on different bazaars on different planets at a wide range of prices, and see what sells and what sits around. Also maybe open a vendor. I have no problem paying higher prices at a vendor, for something relatively lowpriced like buffs I would pay a lot more. Then I don't have to sort through a bunch of crap on the bazaar or travel all over the galaxy looking for some good buffs. Also its great to have the chef right there to fill requests.
Of course i sell my lesser tat sunburns around 650-700
(lots of uses, more filling, less buff; less filling, less buff, less uses; more buff, more filling, less uses, etc...)
I then sell them for 700 in a bulk order over 10. (once again customized, cream of the crop)
Ice blasters i sell for 350,
Thakitillo i sell for 400
Corellian Fried Icecream 400
Trimpian 200 (thse are awesome +276 to constitution 7 uses..of course i can customize)
Ryschate 280 credits
That's just a general idea
My prices are bound to go down, once i amass a surplus, as i just relocated all my harvesters to the uber organics.
They may seem more expensive than other chefs, but i only use the finest quality resources. lokian wheat, rori oats, corellian water, corn, and tubers, nabooian flowers and beans (and the crazy carnivore meat) , dantooinian greens and fungi...so you can see why it can get expensive traveling the galaxy to empty my harvesters.
Thanks
For example, tatooin sunburn is the best for stamina
What about say something like willpower that you can only buff to a maximum of 250 compard to 1500..do you still use the same multiplier you use for the sunburns?
I don't know I think it's kind of sad that you're selling something from the Master Chef skill for only 400 credits. And you say you're using quality resources. Plus there aren't many master chefs around so you have a monopoly at the moment.
I don't mean to harp on you -- in my opinion it's insufficient game balancing. But if any someone can make a new character and a minute later AFFORD to buythe very best dishfrom one of the only master chefs on the galaxy....
These prices are way too cheap I think. Are people really not buying more of them because of price?
except the sunburns which are a little higher...should i icnrease my price? most people go "ouch" when they see my prices...maybe they just don't understand the importance?
I see architects selling things for like 10x credits/resource...
I don't know what to do.
I haven't tried wastril bread, I'm out in the middle of dantooine sampling some greens right now..i'll let ya know when i get back.
