Okay, here's the whole story.

I'm on the Bloodfin boards last night, and there was someone advertising 500+ units of milk, all the same kind. He was taking bids for it. Well, I really wanted the milk, so I logged on and bid 30k (yeah, I know, but I really wanted the milk). He told me that it was mine, 578 units worth. While going to meet up with him my DSL connection went dead. Kaput. I then fell alseep crying about the loss of my precious milk.

This morning, wake up, log on, I've got an email from him stating that he will hold it for 24 hours. I'm very happy. We meet up and make the trade.

Post trade, I'm looking at my milk (my precioussss...). It's Dantooine Domesticated Milk, and there's 594 units of it. That's right, 16 more than last night. So that means in 10 hours, this person somehow found 16 units of milk (and I doubt they were playing for all of that time, as it was from 3am-1pm). So apparently, milk does exist. Somewhere. At least on Dantooine on the Bloodfin server. More than that, I know not.

Now I'm going back to stare at my beautiful milk and imagine all the wonderful things that I could make with it...

Any chance you can ask the guy exactly what he got it off ?

I know it exists. On Starsider, I have a shrine in the back of my shop on Corellia (132 -5596, just south of Coronet).

LoL, are Milk rare? I'm from Scylla and I loot them from time to time from NPC mobsor something like that.

I see lots of posts from people that "get milk all the time" but no one ever seems to post WHAT drops it

Gonna take a shot in the dark here and say:

Try searching nests?

I have searched many a nests and usually end up with a bug or bat sample of some sort with the occasion 2-6 eggs. My hubby has a Bounty Hunter character and has gotten 6 or so milk off the NPCs he kills with no particular pattern. Is therea profession out there that can clone or multiply items?

p.s. So now that you have the milk, please share your experiences....(rubbing hands eagerly in anticipation:smileyhappy

The only way someone can get that much milk of one type is probably resource duping. That would normally suck, but it's the rarest resource in the galaxy, and we need schematic stats, so I guess it's ok please post results (maxed out if possible).

sounds like you just got lucky and there is a item duper on your server who made that milk

or you just want everyone to envy you so you made up the fact that you had milk

The person who sold it to me wouldn't tell me where he got it from (probably didn't want anyone poaching on "his" territory) but he did assure me that it was not duped. Besides, if you were going to dupe it, why stop at 594 units. Why not go to a few thousand or so? Anyways, I'm not making anything with it until I hit master, because I want to get the best possible stats that I can. Well, ok, maybe I'll make one or two things...
