Who makes the most delicious wastril bread in the galaxy? Lets find out! The ONLY stat that counts is nutritional value. Lets see who can get it up highest, with your given ingredients.
Once you made your best wastril bread, please post the ingredients used as well as the nutritional value achieved. This will help us all understand better how experimentaion works for our foods. Be sure to include the decay resistance stat (I believe this counts for more than 0%, and want to prove it).
example:
corn: decay resistance (DR) 689, flavor (FL) 9, potential energy (PE) 944, overall quality (OQ) 738
fruit: DR 523, FL 428, PE 398, OQ 858
=
maximum nutritional value 58%, stamina +134.
Who can make a tastier wastril bread?!
Oh well
My nutritional quality never exceeds 12%.
When it turns out 0%, I rename it "burnt bantha loaf".
If we all did this every so often, we might be able to see a trend of what properties the food schematics really depend on. JOBTAD (Just one Bofa Treat a day)!
You get wastril bread at novice chef, how is that excluding most chefs from the competition?

Ookoi, by using Wastril Bread, you are excluding most chefs from the competition.
For those interested, lets try this experiment on bofa treats. I'd be very curious to see if someone can break 80% nutritional value.
Keep in mind you're not going to get the best results unless you're master artisan, which I am not. But I might whip out my master artisan bot and give it a try
.
My bofa treat result, with a Master Artisan: best is 59%. (note the % and actual action bonuses don't correlate).
Grain:DR 85, FL 511, PE 812, Q 981
Organic: DR 891, Fl 919, PE 781, Q 765
51% Nutritional value (+76 action)
By the schematic I should be at 81%
Grain: DR 693, FL 792, PE 694, Q 744
Organic: DR 891, Fl 919, PE 781, Q 765
59% Nutritional value (+69 action - odd this is lower than the 51% item)
By the schematic I should be at 80%
Grain & Organic: DR 693, FL 792, PE 694, Q 744
57% Nutritional value (+68 action)
By the schematic I should be at 74%
Grain & Organic: DR 85, FL 511, PE 812, Q 981
42% Nutritional value (+74 action)
By the schematic I should be at 77%.
Note, I was not able to experiment to fillthe last bar here even after trying over 6 crafts.
Four variables, 4 equations. Assuming both ingredients use the same schematic, we should be able to figure this out.
Interesting...Notice your third result was the best, where the DR in your ingredients was high. Some testing like this was done on the swgcraft boards, and someone came up with this formula for nutritional value:
DR 35% PE 20% OQ 25% UT 6.25% (13% unknown)
Notice no flavor... Anyway, maybe this will help someone get the perfect bofa treat ![]()
DR 35% PE 20% OQ 25% UT 6.25% (13% unknown)
Actually, if you plug that into my bofa treat results, it comes very close to predicting my results. The only thing I had to change from my formulas was how the 2 ingredients' properties weighed in. I assumed you weighed the properties of the ingredient by proportion in recipe (i.e. if it was 20 resources out of 30 total it would count for 2/3), but it looks like it might be a straight average of sum of resource property / number of resources.
> I dont think flavor and decay rresistance do anything
Just to reiterate. From experimental results, it would appear that it is likely that DR does 35%. It also appears that indeed flavor may do nothing.
I'm standing by this (completely wacked)formula for nowbecause it matches my results better than any other formula put out.
DR 35% PE 20% OQ 25% UT 6.25% (13% unknown)
