i am planning on making another run of brandy but i need a lot of crystaline gemstone but i cant find enough of the same resource to make a full run.

i was hoping somebody would be able to answer my question though, does it matter if the casks are made from different factory runs with different types of gemstone, will they all still work with the same brandy schematic? I think the answer to this is yes but i wanted to make sure.

There is another thread where we were asking this same question with reference to large glasses. So far none of us have tested the theories out. Since the container crate listed in the schematic doesnt list an ID number. It shouldnt matter. But again we havent tested

I have. On one occasion I used casks from different runs and on another hand maded one cask to even out the crate. It all worked fine folks.

Good news to me. Can not find enough Gemstone, so my 20 crates of cask was made by 3 schematices.

Just FYI, names do count. I used to name my components with dates so I knew what was from what batch. So I would name Large Glass 3204 one day and Large Glass 3304 the next day. They could not be used in the same schematic.

^^ weird because I name my glasses/casks (cask *first two letters of serial) so I might use cask mu and cask rr together. I know I have used several times, small glass *a* small glass *b* and small glass *c* from 3-4 different factory runs in the one schematic in a factory and it worked.

So you are saying SV, you have actually not been able to use 2 different large glasses in a factory run of the same schematic for a drink?

Only when they are named differently.

Seems this might only occur for large glasses? I know I use different names for small glasses and casks and they work all the time (I usually have 6-9 factories pumping out food/drink) and always use odds and ends for my containers from various different factory runs.. VERY INTERESTING indeed.
