I know that his has been posted before, but I did a search, and didn't come up with anything. I have the schematic, but need to know what components are needed to make the Chef's version of the apron. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Number of Uses: 3
Variations: You will not know until you learn the schematic which ingredients the apron requires - and therefore which stats it will have. You may not "substitute" ingredients in order to try to make the apron come out with different stats.

I know I sw it somewhere but can't find it again the crafting aprons aren't wearable by Wookies in either form correct?

A Master Tailor has to learn the schematic, then look at it to see which it is.

where do i get the chef apron? i dont have tons of cash so i thought i would try to kill whatever drops it. also, who/what/where do the skill tapes drop for chefs?

You get the schematic from the Jabba Theme Park. But it is a random schematic, so it could be chef, doctor, architect or tailor. Only a master tailor can read the schematic, and you need heavy duty leather (which is another loot drop) to make it.

Truthfully, it would take less time and hassle to run missions and raise the cash to buy the exact apron/skill tapes you want than to spend ages trying to get the right schematic to drop. Tapes are still expensive on Kettemoor, but with so many neochefs abandoning the get-rich-quick profession, aprons cost next to nothing, under 200k easily. Pass the money on to the grinders, I say, so they have more to spend on your food.

thanks everyone who responded. I ran the jabba missions and got a schematic. contacted a master tailor. she said 100k to make the aprons. she made the first one. it was the doctors apron. then she tells me is 700k to make the other 2. so im screwed. i wanted to try and trade one of the doc aprons for a chefs apron. she told me she wants to keep the other 2 uses so she can sell them. i figure that she told me 100k to make them, then its 100k. not jump the rpice on me because she is greedy and unethical. i would have settled for getting 2 and her keep one for her trouble. then i offered to buy the supplies. she said if i buy the supplies, she will make the other 2 aprons for 600k. so as it stands, i spent 3 days doing missions. paid 100k to her. to get a 500k apron. I could have saved myself a TON of time, trouble and aggrivation if id have just bought the damn thing. SHE on the other hand will make 1.1 mil and had to do absolutely NOTHING. this happened 2 days ago and im still cheesed off about it. not sure what i can do to pressure her to do what she said and give me my other 2 aprons.

any suggestions are appreciated.

You've been hosed my friend. Not sure what server you're on, and what the economy is like there so it's hard to say how much you've been cheated but I can help you a bit. I'm a master tailor and deal exclusively with loot items, along with being a master chef.

The resources to make an apron are 2 identical heavy leather, a schematic use, and an array of unimportant readily available resoruces and components. Normally, tailors have to buy the schmatics and the leather to make the aprons, and that and their rarity is what makes them expensive to purchase. I can understand her charging you 100k per apron if you give her the schematic, because she's using leather that she most likely purchased. This seems like a fair deal to me. I would charge you much less if you brought me the schematic and the leather, because then all I'm doing is using some cheap resources I've got laying around and clicking the mouse a bit.

What this tailor did amounts to no less thanstealing from you. Medic aprons are by far the most valuable aprons, at least I can charge the most for them on my vendor, with food aprons a close second. If I read your post correctly you had an agreement before the schematic was opened for her to craft the aprons for you at 100k per. After she found out she lucked into a medic apron she decided to become a crook and changed her mind about honoring the deal. Because the schematic, once opened, is gone, she can't give the uses back to you. And now she's holding the uses hostage for an exorbitant amount of credits. I would report this to a CSR and hope that the agreement is logged in your chat window. Not that this guarantees anything, but I would think you've got a solid case. Your other option is to post your experience with her on the server forum and trade forum so other people don't get hosed in the same way. Maybe she'll change her mind about being a thief after her bad name gets around.

The med apron you've got is worth a bit of money, if you can find the right buyer. Good luck. If you're on the Valcyn server send me a message in-game and I'll hook you with a chef apron.

Yup, medical aprons are worth the same as all the others, if not more as it is one of the more popular professions. They go for 250k - 900k normally, and that is if you don't provide anything. It's not like any of the items used in the schematic are hard to come by, the heavy duty leateris normally dropped in pairs from NPC's such as Janta's and are readily availiable if you ask the right people. All other ingredients are reqular resources or a component availible from a bio engineer, which a master tailor would have stacks of.

This tailor is trying to take advantage of your little knowledge of the tailor profession, I'd report them to a CSR if they won't come to a fair decision, normally the CSR's will help out, remeber to keep any evidence of messages sent and that, they can help out when communicating with the CSR's.
