Thread: One last story to share before heading to bed...
Great achievement for any chef, especially a 10 pointer.
My last 50% was +1100 HAM, but ok, i'm 12 pointer, and it was the best Insect Meat and best Lub Oil in Starsider history (I think at least
Anyway congrats.

Nooo! Did you buy your stuff from Erinys? She's also my second BE vendor and I was contemplating the night before whether I should buy the 118s or not. Came back the following day and they were gone. Hehe. I snoozed and I lost.
Anyway congrats.
I'll never tell!
Ok I will: yes, it was I who snagged the 118s from Erinys.
She's not the cheapest BE around, and may not stock the most regularly, but when she does stock it's almost always primo stuff.

Erinye? You guys talking to my girl?...whazz up with dat?![]()
You have only yourself to blame. You were the one who pointed me at her when I was looking for a BE. ![]()
I usually hit the BE vendor in Foovile first, though. Although for the life of me I can't remember his name. Specializes in large runs, and while they're always pretty good (usually nothing below 54/84/114, 30+ crates per run, all serialed) I was looking for something a bit extra special for this run.
If you want to check my recipe, here's what I used:
Rohe Talus Insect Meat: 897 DR, 906 FL, 601 PE, 848 OQ
Kasmadeag Lokian Tubers: 897 DR, 165 FL, 826 PE, 993 OQ
Oiglaino Lube oil: 999 DR 746 OQ
/chefduel!!
I was going after that Rori insect meat this morning, but I couldn't get any missions for 'em... so I went to endor and killed stuff for the carni meat instead. I think maybe I need a group for the insect meat.

I remember seeing quite a few wild spaws of spinecaps and Mites around the Rebel outpost at the south of the map. Spiders are probably too low to pull missions for if you have any decent combat skills (and as you said, the harvest yield sucks).
If you didn't know, swgcreatures.com is a great place to check for creatures that drop a particular resource. Harvest amount seem to scale directly with difficulty, so sort CL descending, and the top of the list will be the ones with the big carcasses. They're also the one's most likely to gnaw on your carcass, too.
