Thread: is grinding chef really this brutal?
What is that option on the keymap?
Is it the preform defalut action option? I have a wheel mouse and use it a lot but SWG doesn't recognize the click on the wheel. THink thats a driver issue? I can scroll the camera in and out.

Using the macros makes life a lot easier. You still have to click on the ingredients. If your worried about carpal tunnel, and some people are, map double click to your mouse wheel. This way you should be able to be a little easier on your wrists.

Info about managing this, please? I'm good with macros but I'm still a keymap retard. ![]()
In the post that taught me how to do macros was info on how to do this. I didnt for myself. Nor do i know how sorry. I just know its an option and people replied with "Oh thank your pointing this out" to the orignal poster. I believe that was in the Armorsmith forum. Since the AUK grind makes our wastril bread look nice by comparsion.
Sorry i couldnt say more. I really dont know

I'm not sure you can do it in-game, but if you go to the "Mouse" option in the Windows control panel, most drivers allow you to remap the buttons to various funtions.
I've got a 5 button Microsoft Intellimouse, I mapped the center button to double-click (just a feature I love in general, not even just for SWG), and the smaller thumb button to "Enter". This way, I can do all the crafting with my mouse hand, since Enter progresses to the next window. And yes, now that you mention it, I am too lazy to just move the mouse pointer down to the handy "Next" button and left-click. ![]()
Yes, after I read this, I went through the keymap in SWG itself... and you can't map basic functions like a doubleclick to other mouse buttons in the game.
Unfortunately I just went into the Mouse menu (as well as the keyboard menu, on the off chance the option was there) and I can't find any way to do this. I'm running win2k, I'd appreciate it if a kind person helped me further with this. ![]()
it might say somewhere else i just want a rough estimate- if i get all resources and vraft w/ macro ( ehihc would take getting used to as ive never done it) how many hours of crafting would it take to master ?
Hmm, I actually did the math on this once, let me see if I can dig it up...
{cue jeopardy theme....}
Ah, here it is.
So a minimum of 15 hours of straight grinding, but even with a macro doing everything but selecting your resources, your hands would probably give out if you tried it in one stretch.
