Thread: Cavaelin Creams...Pretty Unreal

I just wanted to share my Cavaelin Creams stats, I was SUPER impressed with it, and all my customers I've talked to about it plan on stocking this in bulk as well.

Using 10 experimentation points, and a Medium Nutrition Additive (+89), I got:

97% Reduction to Incap Time; 22% filling; 2 uses.

It takes up to a Heavy additive, but i think the medium more than covers it. I tested it out twice last night, and it is working fully, I was incapped for about 2.5 seconds. Since the filling is so low, and the buff lasts an hour, you can pop one of these before any big PvP fight while waiting on a shuttle, and by the time you get to the battle the effect will still be lingering, but your stomach will be empty. I erroneously put 2 exp points into quantity with no effect, so if I had put all 10 points into filling it would have been 20% possibly.

I think this food is going to be a really big seller, anyone else?

Hm, this is very dangerous stuff. If you are incap in pvp, you might not want to get up in a sec. And here is why :

1. You still have no ham once you up, so very weak, the person who incap you will do it again;

2. If you suffer 3 incaps, you will die, no faction death, you will get decay on your items.

Would be very useful in pve tho.

I can see a market for it in the PvP world. Market this stuff to the Medical professions and the Creature Handlers... 2.5 seconds is enough time for a Doctor/Combat Medic/Master Medic to throw in a heal as soon as they stand up (right before they get DB'd). 2.5 seconds is also enough time for a Creature Handler to spam /tellpet attack; on the potential DB'r which *may* just buy him enough time to survive the ordeal. Good job on this stuff. I'll have to render this food another look.

Well also if its something besides dueling pvp you aren't always going to have people running up to DB you (unless you're fighting a rifleman) which potentially could mean that they move on to another target, you get up and attack them and they're totally caught off guard. Especially useful if you have med skills or a good medic watching you.

Somewhat dependent on those factors, but for people who take part in PA wars, faction base raids, and other "large-scale" pvp could be useful to that extent.

Per my other post, Heavy Additive raises it to at least 117%.

dam, ill eat that stuff. I hate sitting through 1 1/2 minute incapps for some punk npc to waddle over and finish the job with 5 seconds left. I turn off the pc every time that happens cause I will prolly break stuff otherwise. COOK IT UP!!!!

Ive tested it and it definitely works. It may look misleading, because as soon as you incap, your bar pops up and displays 97 seconds or whatever it happens to be, but then the bar disappears and re-loads about a half second later with 2-3 seconds left, after which you stand up. Ran two tests, worked perfectly both times.

And ya, its not for every situation. Some PvP its actually going to be a bad thing, because you can just get incapped again in a shorter time period. However where I see it being really effective is on large PvP raids, where theres 20+ people on each team, and when you get killed you usually end up laying on the ground for awhile while your team holds the line fighting it out.

It works. After I made it, I had my TKA beat up my chef. It worked well. It only works on the 1st incap though.

Yea h , but if you eat another portion as soon as you stand you are good to go for next incap. Somethings I noticed clear your system as soon as they are used, like pyrollian Cake, you can eat one of these after each crafted item !!!!

Hi

Master chef Hooch here. I don't think this food has any effect I have tested it with additives and without.

Something for the Devs to chew on. Managed to make one with amod of133 but what the hell does that mean??? Does it mean you jump up just to get smegged (killed)again by the same angryMOB. I guess that the only way to get this to work would be if it added enough stat to escape when you become incap.Maybe take it out of the game altogether??

I made a run of 8 crates of starshine to see if they'd sell, and some creams. In over a month, I have sold exactly 0, even after reducing the prices to 500cr per stack
