I posted my initial breath of heaven results in J2xC's thread, and I see some pretty signficant boosts in duration/buff...but not enough to make me change my mind on the concern for rebalancing the chef tree.


Take the antakarian Fire Dancer for example (mix III):
20 ore, 20 gemstone, 2 identical alcohols.
I used 20 awesome quality gemstones, (20 poor ore) and 2 64% nutrition aludiums.

Optimus' buff guide advertises +20 action for 80s.

I was able to experiment this up to a whopping

+184 action for 308s.

(WAY more than optimus pre-patch results)
Unfortunately, compared to tatooine sunburns, this still absolutely sucks!

Another test is for Antakarian Fishak Surprise. Unfortuntely the only fruits i have on me are 5 flavore and 928 PE, and 1 overall quality. (ONE for cryin outloud) so take these results with a very large grain of salt.

Optimus advertises 250 mind -185 action for 620 seconds.
I was able to get it to +491 mind -32 action for 771s.

WOW!!!! This is incredible considering the fruit i used. What really blew my mind was the -32 action. What a large difference from what Optimus had.

I was able to get breath of heaven up to +520 to strenght quick and focus for 8.33 minutes in a stack of 5 which is really good, but at the price i have to charge for these things (6 aludium pu36s UGH a failure on that is NOT fun), it's still not very appealing. I don't think it will go much higher than this, as i was using some pretty HQ components. Unfortunately i don't have the neutronium steel to try out this pica thundercloud, nor HQ fruits at the moment to try some other things, and my crates of solllustan gin don't want to spit anything out (to test flameout) but i will continue to update this thread as time goes on.

Sigh just failed on a flameout...gotta wait for more gins to pop out.

Beav, look me up tonight. I have a waypoint for 700flavor 900PE berries. Unfortunatly you can't put down harvesters there.

Yah, nice results! Unfortunately, it's still totally unbalanced as a mix III drink should not be the same as the veronian berry wine, especially when it does require the resources, and identical components.

Vasarian Brandy : +213quick -18focus 231s using some berries from Corellia that are > 975 OQ, PE & Flavour 2 uses

Elshandruu Pica Thundercloud : +44- action 282s 3uses

Breath of Heaven : +387 Str/Qui/Focus 501s

Thakitilo : +237 Health, Str, Con 625s

Veronian Berry Wine : +132HAM 202s

Stewed Gwouch : +192 stam 132s

I NEVER use alcohol, only Kylessian Fruit Distillate.

I admit, I'm obsessed with this Cortyg drink! With slightly above average flowers and Kylessian fruit distillate:

+268 health +1 action -6 mind for 191 seconds.

Anybody want to try it with really good flowers? I only got it to 45% nutri value.

with decent flowers i can get +346 for 289 seconds on the cortyg

Guys: Post how many experimentation points you have, and what type of alchohol you're using. Otherwise these results are near meaningless compared to each other. Otherwise, great work

At master(10 points):

Flameout: +1350 health, -150 mind,foc,wil, 5 minutes, 4(or 5)

I have 9 experimentation points and was using Aludium pu36 on all of mine.
