I didnt really know what the usual stats for Bivoli was so I was just messing around with my points and got this:

+16.587

17m 48s

and Quantity of 2....

What are the usual stats people look for when buying bivoli?

+23, 3 uses
is also acceptable if you're a 10 point chef what i assume, of course price it lower than 12 pointers sell their +25/3 uses

What additive did you use? You can (and should) use a Heavy Additive with Bivoli.
PE and OQ need to be high on the Carn Meat and the Vegetable (800 to 900 at least!) if DR is nice thats not bad either (for quantity)

if you are a 10pt, you will probably be getting 2 uses.

You want to put as much experimentation into the bonus as possible as well. Decimal values do not matter when regarding bivoli, they round down no matter what, meaning a 24.9 is exactly the same as a 24.1.

So what I am sayin here is, if you are spending an extra experimentation point to boost the bivoli but are still hitting the same base, spend that experimentation point elsewhere

Normally it takes 2-3 experimentation points to go from 2 to 3 uses, depending on the materials you use.

90% of the time, Nutrition is the main thing you want to spend points in. There are a few exceptions: Parwan should focus on Flavor to hit 90% burst recovery, 50 fill Vercupti requires the majority of the points in filling.

With Bivoli, I try to hit +25 / 3 use. After that, put the rest of the points (if any) into duration. Mine usually comes out +25 / 3 use / 12m / 26 fill. As a 10 point chef +25 / 3 use usually requires an amazing success in Nutrition, if you get only great successes you either need at least11 points or some godly starting percentages.

If I can't hit +25 / 3 use, I go for +24 / 3 use / 13m / 26 fill. Only whole numbers seem to matter (so improvement from +24.1 is identical to +24.9), so if your Nutrition caps out in the high +24s, save a couple experimentation points to spend in Quantity or Flavor.

Ignore filling, since even without experimentation, Bivoli will digest out of the stomach before the buff wears off. And since you can't stack skill buffs, that's really all that matters.

*hi5's sciguy* it can be quite hard to get +25/3 as a 10pt chef

You want to try and keep the 3 charge base, as it keeps the customers away from your shop for an extra 25 uses per crate

(unless of course you want the customers... but baahh who needs em)

I think Sciguy is only a 10 pointer... at least he said so last week somewhere I think

With my resources it would be impossible to hit 25/3 with 10 points.

I need 8 amazing successes for +25, and then 3 great successes for 3 uses. thats 11 points already.
I assume 2 amazings in quantity would get me very close to 3 uses, but its just not enough (i tried it ). I guess higher DR would allow me to safe that point too, and spend it in Flavor...

Yeah, no kidding! I got my hands on some 118 heavies, figured I could juuuuust hit it with a7 point amazing in Nutrition and a3 point amazing in Quantity, using some high PE/OQ/DR meat and veggies for a good start point. I certainly went through a lot of Bespin that day.

Of course, when I went in-game tonight real quick to check the other stats, I'm completely sold out of it. Apparently everyone's turning up their noses at my +24 / 3 use.

And as an FYI (if you want to try some customer education) some doc testing showed that the difference between +24 and +25 is something like 0.5% of the buff (around +10 difference depending on the buff pack's power).

lol customers only want the best

I took the easy way out, went 12pt'er hehe

Takes me 2 points in charges and 7 in nutrition that have to be amazing successes, then I get 3 in duration. We had a recent 990/980 OQ/PE carni spawn on our server, so it's rather easy, and I can bump it to 17mins lol

Yeah with the resources I have in order to get +25, 3 use bivoli I need at least 11 "amazing success" points in nutrition and quantity. IMHO unless you can get some really powerful meat and veggies bivoli's all about working at it until you get the all-amazing schematic.

Biggest chef tip has to be, never settle for anything less than an amazing success.
