I was testing out enhanced Vercupti tonight (pretty nice, +1100 to H/A/M with a 114 heavy additive, was able to take out 5 veermoks and a couple maulers) and had to laugh at the buff UI icon label:

"Fortitude of the Gungan Warlords".

The duration is disappointing on Vercupti, I had hoped they might tweak it for the patch, oh well :/
It is handy for a "quick fix"

I'm unsure whether this food will be worth the trouble producing it. It's the filling I think alot of people won't like.

What do you guys think ?

I tend to agree...around 65-70 fill and it only lasts for 6-13min (depending on experimentation) not very useful as a standard buff item...

I think with this food, you would have to do the duration enhancer for it to be worthwhile buff length vs filling.

Remember, this is enhanced stats. Drop the duration in, then you get a lovely 500-600 buff, for 30m, and still can't eat two. Do a filling heavy enhancer? Oh wow...nevermind, still can't eat two, its still 10 mins long and 500-600 buff. Also it's gated due to looking for qualities in the lube oil that lube oil dosen't freakin have. (i.e, flavor)

Just another example of Master Chef foods being substandard to the rest of the foods below them on the tree. It's not US who should be raising the duration. It's thedevs that should be.

Unitarius:

You're right, that is nutrition enhanced, but an extra 1k HAM, plus armor, plus synthsteak (which can be eaten along with vercupti) you've can take hits totaling around6.5-7k more in each pool. Heck, with 80% composite and 25% synthsteak it works out to about 13k more.

A heavy filling addiitve should cut the filling by 23% or so, so you should be able to get it under 50 without excessive filling experimentation. The vercupti I had was about 68 Filling before experimentation, and it dropped to 66 spending one point. If all you're wanting is to stack vercupti, you get a better return with a nutrition additive, but a Carbocaloric Eliminator would allow you to get the buff and eat other foods.

And lube oil's lack of flavor/PE does not adversely affect the food. Trust me, I checked. Find some with high OQ (and to a lesser extant DR) and you'll be fine.

I don't think this is a "substandard" buff. I think it has a narrower use than something like Vasarian Brandy or Accaragm (which can buff you pretty much constantly), but if you know you are going into a firefight this makes a great prepatory food. I think some of the low-to-mid level dungeons can be cleared in 10m, the higher ones might be too with a big group.

Finally, ifyou could go back in time (to oh, say, January) and post here that people would be calling a +500 H/A/M food that lasts 600 seconds "substandard", you'd have been commited to the nearest mental institution. Do you rememberhow all the durations were measured in seconds? Or how impressed everyone was when someone used a duration enhancer in Bivoliand broke20 minutes?!? Just goes to show that the bar was definitely raised as far as food quality is concerned.

Yes, I agree this food has it's uses.. however the filling/duration/buff stats certainly seem out of whack compared to the foods that aren't in master chef. I would make more of this food if it had a bigger stack size. I find it hard to justify using a crate of heavy additives for 50 uses of food. Why does something like Canape have 6-7 uses whereas thak/vercputi only have 2? The way the other professions advance you get both increased stack size/buff as you go up the tree (for instance, stim C vs stim D or any of the other meds). The stack size is killing us for these master level foods.

Sounds to me some guys, wanna put the Docs, out of business. Some people think they should eat a piece of air cake and go toe to toe with a Krytt!! **hahahaha** I agree Master Chef items are a waste, breath of heaven fills to much to combine with brandy, i could go on. But with a good doc buff and the right combo of foods, (Pikatta Pie, Synth Steak, and Citros Snowcake, then drink 2 brandy and keep some Blue Milk and Muon in yer back pocket just in case and I am freakin invinsible!!! So what is the problem, food is better now, the removal of the pets only rule is a total bonus, it's another back pocket item for an emergency munch when the ham bar gets scary.

Great kid, don't get cocky!

I always viewed this as emergency food...gives you that boost when you really need it in a tough fight...but not something you would use on a regular basis.

I have to think that it is more of aGCW cateredfood. Take it just before you are about to engage in some city defense or city attack. Lasts long enough to avoid being one-shotted when you are outnumbered or by the base Turrets.

I can't seem to justify making crates. But I will probably keep a few singles on each of my vendors for those who may need it.
