welll said i need the same thing

Swgcraft.com has a list of all resources available in the game and it'll tell you what's made with them. Not specifically for chef, but they're all there. I don't think it's a matter of someone being nice enough to post it or not, I just highly doubt anyone has enough time and patience to write out a list when we've all had to go through the process of finding these things out ourselves using the available resources.

You may just want to look up the items you think you're going to want to stock, and then go to swgcraft to see what resources go into them. You won't be making every item available to you, and again, I'm willing to bet that nobody's going to want to run through the entire resource list to spoon feed somebody else. No one is being unkind by not offering to do your research for you, but since it sounds as though you have time before you unlock your alt slot, it gives you that much time (and then some) to get a good grasp on the profession for yourself.

A word of advice: while being prepared is a great thing, you're going to go broke and have alot of useless resources if you try to stock EVERYTHING for chef. What I would suggest is talking to other chefs on your server, or do some of your own checking as to what foods sell best. Then narrow down a small list of foods you will sell regularly on your vendor - reserving the others for special orders. I'll try to give you a list of the most used resources...hopefully I won't forget anything lol

low quality (grind) crystalline gemstone - for glasses or casks; trim for casks (get trim from a tailor or grind out 0-0-1-0 tailor yourself)

wild oats, rice, or low quality (grind) domesticated, for components (ie: alcohol, which you're going to need ALOT of. Oats and rice can be used anywhere that "cereal" is listed)

high quality domesticated oats and rice; low quality water forfood adds, high quality water for other foods (you're going to need ALOT of water, especially for food adds)

Food Bio-Components (get these from a BE, they can also explain to you which do what, i use the ones that bump up nutritional value - broad-spectrum, intelligent nanos, etc, but other chefs look more for the benefits of the other ones, i apologize but i'm not familiar with those...) - on Bria the best stats for the adds i use are: light - 57, med 87, and heavy 118, idk if it varies from server to server like some other things

high quality greens, tubers (corellian and tatooian are the specifics, but you can get some that isn't for the recipes that don't require the specifics) - also if you are on Bria server STOCK UP ON GOOD QUALITY TAT TUBERS! They are hard to find atm.

high quality fruits, flowers, and berries (also corellian and tatooian are the specifics, but same as the greens and tubers)

milk (used in several things including bantha butter, which is a component) milk is the ONLY thing you can use where the stats don't matter as long as the recipe specifically calls for milk

hide - look for high decay resistance and overall quality

high quality meat - if i remember right anything you use meat in requires high quality - someone plz correct me if I'm wrong here

fungi - a good thing to have, and on my server relatively easy to find with uber stats

I myself have never used eggs, mollusk, etc...or corn for that matter lol but if you find some with uber stats it might not be a horrible idea to pick some up. I'm sure I've forgotten something, I'm not in game and I always forget specifics of foods unless i have the crafting tool right in front of me lol, but I hope this helps some. Good luck with chef

woohoo, thanks very much. I only got aobut 3 weeks until i get jedi. So thats gonna be good. I took a look at how much everything will cost so i decided to go with Alot of Action Regen food, mind and health (not as much as action) Then a few things like burst run food and stuff.

So if iam makingComponents like casks and alcoholi dont need high quality resources? because i bought this really good gemstone at like 3CPU or something.

Also i dont know too much about what the BE stuff is, so i think i might just follow you for the first few months of chef. I am gonna get a BE to stock up for me, got a tailor in the guild who is gonna stock me up on lots of trim.

ok, but for everything else ineed quality stuff?

if you make something that is used as a subcomponent for another food or drink, the quality of it does not matter. casks made with 1000 OQ gemstone will give the same bonuses as casks made with 10 OQ gemstone. dough made with 1000 OQ wheat wont do anythign special that dough made with 10 OQ wheat doesnt do.
