Given that on Nov 15 the game is undergoing a huge revamp, are you all still planning on carrying on stocking food? I was pondering repricing everything to 100k a crate and then not crafting till the new game comes into force.

What are your plans?

I'm gonna back off like I did at the CU. Wait and see what happens. The changes will probably change what sells. Indeed the foods may not even do the same things like what happened with the CU. So I think it best to make as little as possible. Testing may prove it safe but until we have it tested I think caution is advised.

I had alot of food schematics in my datapad ready to go into the factory once all my med copmonents were finished. I think i will keep my med components without making them into stims and keep the schematics also. I have more than enough foods on my venders to last 3 weeks. Also food converted horibly last conversion so i dont want to be too pissed when it happens.

Whats funny is i had just spent 15million on meat last week so i wouldn't have to buy meat for a long time.

I'm in the same position as Hellfire ... just invested alot of credits in resources, lets hope that they still turn out to be useful

CU I figured oh well, I'll just keep crafting and didn't lower my prices either.

Post-CU yes, I was able to still sell a lot of stuff at cheap prices but a lot of it I just destroyed. To be honest, I felt bad. All that food to waste when it could have been USEFUL to people if I had sold it for cheap or what not.

I put all my singles up for 1 credit each last night at one location (had over 400 singles on it). Some guy saw me putting them up while I was there, asked why so cheap and I told him and he was all happy and excited and bought most of them. So, instead of having to destroy crap later I got to make someone happy now. Works for me.

And no, I don't think I'll keep crafting.

Well I've held on to Chf since the first day I created Eceri (May of 04) So I'm not giving up just yet. For me it's a passion to Craft and a wonderful break from Combat. I've done several other crafting proffesions with Chef, but Chef has always been there. I was very nervous about the CU and it turned out not so bad, so I'm hoping with all the posts I've read that this won't be either. It honestly sounds like combat is the one to undergo the most changes.
I'll keep minimal stock for now and hold off the major advertising campaign on my new shop till after this comes into effect, but everything indicates the resources and the crafting process will not change.

So lets keep our fingers crossed, and hope for the best

i wonder what we will use as enhancements for our food since be will no longer exist i have alot of be components just setting there waiting wonder if they will be any good if i should make more or not?

Enhancements? You don't even know if "food" will exist anymore, let alone worrying about additives.

I'm sure food will probably exist but who is to say it won't be some EQ version of it? Seems pretty likely.
