Straight from TC-Corbantis,

The Chef in our guild, N'Thrald has started to compile a list of stats on the food converted in the NGE and also compared it with those crafted AFTER the NGE. She will be adding more to the website in the coming week before launch so you all can get a heads up on what things do.

One of the biggest concerns is that when the Bio-Engineered Components run out it could mean the end of "good" food. To see the conversion chart please click HERE!

BE is gone and all their schematics

I have read several times now that stims are sold by NPC's

and given the creature food is going to be impossible to gather in any large quantities...

I finally figured out SOE management strategy for SWG

High prices of creature resources were the only thing that really made Chef difficult so naturallyit was also the only thing giving our products any value. If everyone can do it, our stuff won't be worth squat. And with inital stats all 11 or under even with tissues, good resources won't mean squat either.

Someone please post that the chart linked was made up.

Fugitron:

Any chance N'Thrald had gotten the Mando Wine schem? There's a lot of worry that the schem won't convert over (or hasn't had it's stats converted into post-NGE buffs). If not her, have any other Corbantis chefs (who are still around) checked it?

Thanks, Fu, for posting a clickable link. I haven't figured that out yet.

Anywho, as a clarification:

My chart compares food with and without BE tissues. All food was made after logging into the Corbantis TC.BE Tissues are whatI have in my inv from before the NGE.I just got home from work, so if the server is up, I'll get back at adding to my list.

The idea of the chart is just to show you how food will be once the supply of BE tissues finally dwindles down to nothing and chefs are reduced to unenhanced food, since nobody has found a way of actually creating the BE tissues without the BE profession.

Also as a side note, just to keep things even I've put experimentation points into nutrition first, flavor second. I know not all foods will be made this way, but thought it would make an easier point of reference if they were all done the same.

N.

PS, if anyone else is also making a list, please feel free to email me at [email protected] and I'll add your stats to mine.

Good job, I saw your chart.

Just curious about this:

As a clarification, the food that I had on my vendors that were created before the NGE still had the same old stats they had in the old/current environment. There was -no change- in the stats in the item detail. Only new food created in the new environment had these stats. Hope this helps (or clarifies) things.

Did you remove any of the items from you vendor to your inventory? If so, didn't they convert to new stats? Others have reported that items behave in this manner.

Good work!

Another possibility: the stats may not convert until after extraction from the crate.Unless you were also talking about single stacks, which is possible, but unlikely considering how chefs tend to sell. This cropped up in a couple of cases with the chef revamp, and also with the CU conversion of foods. The crate stats showed one thing, but when a stack was pulled out, the food showed something else.

Or it might be a vendor thing like Garanor said. Item conversion has always been a little buggy, especially when dealing with stuff on vendors.

no one else concerned with the very small buff numbers and lack of decimals? as long as crafting is still all % based, exp points and uber resources won't really be much better than grind stuff at all.
