My factories were doing this too for a while. Turns out since the last patch you cant have more than 50 items in the output hopper. Once you hit 50 the factory turns off. Hope this helps.

It's only happening selectively for me, sometimes it will stop with 30 items in the hopper, sometimes it doesnt stop at all with 60 items in the hopper.... doesn't make much sense

It goes something like this atm:
Your factory will stop at x items made (random, seems to be 40-90)
Next time you start up, your factory will stop at x / 2 items
Your factory will proceed to halve your output hopper until:
a. server goes down for maintenance (currently not happening) or it crashes (both reset your hopper and you can then make your x items, that then halve each time you restart)
or
b. you reach 1 crate, at which point it stops working entirely
or
c. you empty it completely, redeed and replace (if lucky)
or
d. everyone quits the game in disgust over complete indifference on SOE's part
Or you can call a CSR and get told to do step C and ensure you have power in your factory.
This is why you pay a monthly fee. It's so you can spend 3 hours a day faffing with factories that have been broken since launch, but are required by design.

Ever since Tuesday all 3 of my factories have been acting up. They are stopping with as few as 8 crates in them. This is getting VERY annoying. I am going to redeed all my factories once they finish (if they finish) there current run and see if that alleviates the problem.

i have 17 factories acting like this. half of them i can't even redeed.
they stop at 250... then 125... and so on...
this is useless. without the server reboots, this problem is getting out of hand.
i have to spend 3 times as much time on making a full run of something, because i obviously can't sit around all day waiting for it to bug.

is re deeding them or a server re set only work around right now for this problem?

I had the problem of it stopping 70% or so when restarts were in I think its a bug in the code..

Bad Lexi'! Bad! You think this is SOE's fault? No, you go check if you have power in there and maybe update your drivers while you're at it. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I just took everything out of them and let them sit for a day and then went back to business as usual......sounds like I was lucky....
