WHY ME ???? You guys may hate all of us Holochefs.. but may I tell you something: noone hates us more then me!!

I did a little math: I ought to grind 11700 wastril breadies to get the points necessary for master.. OMG! Look at that number.. 70 xp points for one item.. rediculous.. Iam sure, I will have a great time ginding for the next weeks.. Not to mention the resources I will waste..

And giving the stuff to ppl has no sence too, as it seems to be bugged. I don't get XP when someone eats my food.. AHHHH!! I am going cracy..

Any tip or help is appreciated. To all the ppl shouting: MAN.. read the sticky post.. I did. I will go up to mixture 3 and then make that other thing which will give me around 100 xp.. WOHOOOO GREAT !!! 100 !!!

Anyways. Help is appreciated. rants and flames too.. Will keep my spirit up. lol

Farewell

Oh, I forgot to mention that every third or fourth assembly is a CRITICAL ERROR...

I am using 4 makros atm.. So I think by christmas next year, I will be jedi.. makes a nice little bunch of cash for SOE.. They definitely have great marketing experts (they certainly wear the title: "master of lenghten the amount of time needed to grind your way up to the FSCS, thus giving us much more real life MOOOOOONEY!! Yeeehaaa !", in short: "Rippoffers")..

Do you also only get 70 xp for the grind of wasted bread (or whatever it is called..)??

Does anyone get XP when somebody eats or drinks their food and drinks ? If so, tell me what food it is..

Skiip

First its 90 per wastril. But go to mix 2 and do ithorian mists. Its probaly the best grind item we have.

On page 2 of the Big Bad Chef FAQ there is an easter egg by Martee MacGrave

So no bread isn't everything. Instead look for Ithorian Mist in Mixology II

If you think this is bad, I am becoming a Master Weaponsmith to help my PA. That profession grinds 120 xp per rifle barrel. and it takes tens of thousands of rifles barrels along with over 400,000 metal to make novice to master.

I am now starting to become a chef. Not because a stupid holo tells me to, but because I want to.

My advice, do not let the Holo control you...

have fun playing THE GAME!

Yes I'm becoming a chef also, not because of a holo either.Thethread creator is correct though, I'm only receiving 73 xp per Wastril too.And dude you shouldn't complaing about SOE ripping you off, if you and (and others like you) are only playing this game to be Jedi, then you're overlooking many great things about this game just so you can uber. It's that simple, if you'redriven enough(orinsane enough)to do the holo grind you shouldn't be complaining. SOE is handing you your FSCS on a platter, while breaking a promise to the community that Jedi would be rare and the path to Jedi would be "mysterious". I've wanted to vomit when I see "Jedi" in the cantina having people kill them so they can "start a new char". I'd hope that you'd take being a Jedi seriously, but I'm guessingthat you won't either. Don't give into out of character uberness.... If you make Jedi, BE a Jedi. Don't go flashing your lightsaber through every town so you'll get attention, try and role play some and play Jedi as it was originally intended. You just might like it.

Heh, I'm at the opposite, I'm a master Chef working my way towards master Armorsmith, since my guild doesn't have one. I can tell you, it's a lot easier than the chef grindage was, and my mabari armor is selling on the bazaar, something all that bread/Mist never would!

Thanks for the replies, folks!

Yes, it is true as you say, Bossov. It is basicly my decision to make wheter I want to go the long road towards jedihood or not and thus pay the (reallife-money) price. I absolutely agree with you that Jedi shall be rare and never ever seen inside a town until they have some strenght to handle all the consequences. But I understand those people who finally got their FSCS and at first create a Jedi, build a lightsaber and go to Coronet Starport to show off.. hehe.. who would not after that long a road.

Basicly, the only thing I dislike about chef now is, that nobody knows the benefit of food and drinks. You CAN'T sell your products. That is a fact that needs to be treated with. I respect you and all your fellow chefs. I think you (and we BE) have quite a hard life in SWG.

I am playing this game since it went live (not beta, sale-version though), and I have to say: Achieving Jedihood is all that really is left for me in this game. The rest I have seen...

Don't forget to take into consideration 11,700 breads X 32 seconds per loaf = 104 hours

OUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

If I was a casual player playing 10 hours a week.. and spending a 1/3 of my time crafting, while the rest is used to earn money, harvesters and traveling.. I would spend 3 hours a week crafting.. Who in the right mind has OVER 30 weeks to fullfill SOE delusions of casual fun here? I would be better off doing Architect that I can make master in a fraction of that time.. but oh well.. More eveidence that SOE has NOT a clue what the chef profession is.. I"m still waiting for these 4 month long promissed fixes..

Bigmisstake in your calculation Cronus00. It would be 104 hours if i only had 1 crafting tool. But with 6 of them running constantly i can get it down to around 6 seconds per loaf.
