Thread: New smuggler food idea

After having a Master Smuggler friend get a 19% speed slice on multi-millioncredit Stun Baton, it lead me to think of a food called Smuggler's Bounty that increases the chance of getting a higher percentage slice. This would be the Smuggler's equivalent of Pyollian Cake and Bespin Port, plus, Smuggler's would have something to help carry them to their overdue revamp.

That's a great idea, but how about some new foods that are spiced enchanced Just a thought.

See, I've been waiting for GreenMarine to do his "smuggler revamp, spice focus" thread to suggest just that. In fact, some of the details coming out of the smuggler revamp threads makes it sound like spices are going to require some components, which I think might work as an additional source of "biological components" for food additives. Think "special brownies".

Of course, that would make thefood slightly illegal, so you may want to watch out for law enforcement or Imperials while carrying them around.

Just happen to catch this post somehow

I agree with this idea. We smugglers need something to quench our thirst for a better cause until the "big" revamp.

I wonder if they'd rather have a higher % or 2 foods giving a better chance at speed or damage. ?

it's 4:30 am so if that didn't make any sence

I've been a Master Smuggler for quite some time now and I am extremely content with having no control whatsoever over the results of my Slices. There are a few threads on the Smuggler forum that show similar sentiment.

I was, until recently, a former master smuggler (and hope to return after the revamp) and I agree that we actually don't want to "pick a slice." We would however, like to have a food that increased the chances of a high % slice.

Its a great idea, as a former smuggler myself there is nothing more frustrating than slicing a crap % on a expensive weapon. i.e 17% dmg on my scythe and 19% spd on my acklay ph.

especially since you are "master smugglers/slicers" you think you would have enough compentence to know how to handle the tools

Absolutely, increased slice percentages would be fine, but when it comes down to picking what gets sliced, a whole new dimension is added to Slicing. For a single-line pseudo-crafting skill, it is not worth having to grapple with resource quality and the like.
