I've read alot of posts where people say that food can help reduce HAM costs and make things easier all around. So, what foods do ya'll recommend? What is the ideas diet for the carbineer?

I recommend Ryshcate and Breath of Heaven.

If you eat 2 ryshcates and drink one breath of heaven, your HAM costs for ALL specials will be 0.

Also, your medic use is 0.

If you are armored, crippling shot will cost you about -27.

All depends on the armor you're wearing, too, I use full composite.

You will not believe the power of carbine until you eat your wheaties before using it.

How long does each "meal" last?

Depends on the food. I think the ryshcate / boh combo is 6 minutes. What this means is you have 6 minutes to spam your specials and I can usually do a lair + kill some nearby stuff in that timeframe.

It's unfortunate buffs are so different in durations. I think spice should be lengthened to about 30 minutes, because everyone knows that highs don't last a piddly 10 min (Tylenol with Codene in SWG would make me unstoppable). Food should be at least 15 min. Especially since you actually fill up on food.
