Thread: My test for CS1

I was huntin some fambaas yesterday and decide to pay more attention to CS1 (just acquired)..

So 1 out of 4 times i used it, i manage to drop down the fambaa..max time before it stood up again was 2 secs..During the time the fambaa was down i had 100% hit success...i could land one special when it was down and one more just before it stood on its feet..i dunno if this is sufficient cause i never had CS1 before the "nerf"..

being a master brawler/master swordsman


that is about on par with LUNGE2 which is a melee KD.

That is strange because I can land at least 3 CrippleShots on a KD'd Mutant Rancor and sometimes I sneak in a 4th one before they are fully standing and attacking again.


The old ChargeShot1 was 2 seconds as I could only get in 1 CrippleShot. So I am not sure what you are doing but I tested this on a few HUNDRED Rancors while quick leveling thru CH.



Another quirk on ChargeShot1, I can still spam it on Jedi and throw them on the ground multiple times in 30 seconds. I really haven't tried any other melee PC's but I do know NPC's won't spam at all anymore, after trying hundreds of times

The timmer has issues. Ill fight for a couple hours and it looks right and all at 5 seconds. But then ill fight other mobs and it is not even close to 5 seconds. I dont use it all to much to begin with but there is definetly issues with it not working on some mobs and working on others. The one mobs i know it works on are imp npc's : )

I have also observed that the duration of the KDisvariable.


It also seems to me thatthe KD's duration isrelated to the target's strength: the stronger the target, the shorter the KD.


Also, the probability of landingKD seems to be higherfrom 0-20mthan from 40-50m (using a Laser or an Elite).


But I may be imagining all this

Maybe i'll actually have to use chargeshot to a larger degree again... only time i use it now is to stop people from kiting me while i'm using my PH lol.

Well I hold down Mutant Rancors for 5 seconds, when it hits. The chance to hit is much lower now with the "fix". The variations are just buggy code, SOE is worse than Microsoft for bugs and bloat....
