Thread: Carbineer and our defence mods
I, tho, have +200 counterattack mods, so i do counterattack quite frequently.
Well i think you missions some important mods!
We get 15 knockdown defence and 25 inimidate defence plus 25 range defence!
What carabiners need to be viable in combat, is 45 knockdown defence 50 intimidate defence and 40 stun defence plus 25 in range defence.
For those who think intimidate defence suck, i simply say , be intimidated in pvp( you lose someyour defences andattack for less).
If we get this we not have best defences in pvp, but enough to make viable class in pvp
oops, i spelled wrong, i said, i think you missing some important mods!

thats going to be fixed next patch...no more stacking
The reason why carbineers have poor "front end" defense mods (ranged and mellee defense) is because counter attack is SUPPOSED to "counter attack" dealing an "unblockable counter attack" to your enemies. This means, if counter attack worked correctly, ever time you make your counter attack check you would be damageing your enemies. Thus you would be doing significant additional damage to anyone who was attacking you, but in order for that to happen they need to hit you, hence the low ranged and melee defense, and the high counter attack chance.
Counter attack is however broken and does not do any additional damage, it works like dodge. ![]()
Hopefully they will fix it in the next publish...
how may licks from a rifleman does it take to get to the center of a carbineer pop?
