Thread: Where are the Krayt enhanced carbines?

I go for speed for a carbine. I have an Krayt elite carbine with 1.3 speed and 258 max damage. I also have an advanced Short DH17 carbine with 1.2 speed and 208 max damage. I like the speed b/c I can hit more times then a weapon with 3.8 speed for example.

I pasted the above from a different post. I was curious as to where you find a Krayt enhanced carbine? I'm on Corbantis so if anyone knows of any vendors please let me know. and how much do they go for?
When hunting Krayt Dragons what parts should I harvest to use when crafting the new carbine?

Well on Chilastra I know the locations of 7 Krayt Carbines.....5 in my backpack and 2 in my bank 
The Krayt Tissue is a LOOT item, not harvest from those lovely creatures.
Don't expect to EVER find a Krayt Carbine on a vendor or even available for sale. So few people use carbines that Weaponsmiths won't waste a bunch of Krayt Tissue to have their multi-million credit weapon sitting on the shelf.... Personally I laugh at anybody that doesn't at least offer me 5+ mil for ONE of mine 
Tissues are very expensive these days...

I've got a set of four krayt carbines that I paid not a credit for at all. Supplied to me by my guild's weaponsmith, who makes more money than god as a top notch weaponsmith on the server.

I just had a krayt elite and a krayt dh17 carb made. Both got disappointing slices. No matter how good the tissues are, it always comes down to the smuggler. The dh17 had a 28% speed slice, dropping the speed to 1.2, and the elite has a 17% damage slice. It could have been worse on the elite, but the dh17 is just plain sick speed-wise, lol. The elite has a max of 298, and 395 with powerup. Would have paid a mil for another 15%+ on that damage slice...
