Thread: combat balance is not coming any time soon

Have a look at the state of the game, just posted on the main page.
What does this mean for us carbineers since alot of what we need was all "wait for the combat balance", or "that will be fixed in the the combat balance"

Well, I don't know about the rest of ya butI think that is good. I don't know if it is just me but I have had an uneasy feeling about the whole combat revamp thing since the first time I heard about it. Sony's track record in this game leaves a lot to be desired so I really dread the thought of them taking something like the combat system and totally reforming it! Damn we have all just gotten used to what is messed up in the current system!

Not sure about the rest of you but I for one have been looking foward to this combat revamp, even if they screw it up it can't be any worse than it is now.

it couldve been a lot worse, that whole new ham system seemed a bit sketchy to me. they did say that some major issues and bugs were still being fixed so hopefully we'll still get legshot3 fixed and combat medics damage will be adjusted and pvp 75% reduction applied to them. new armor, weapons, and content is still going to be creeping in, and apparently some sort of mandolorian armor looted from that new dungeon he talked about in the letter. fighting a dungeon of rogue mandolorians sounds pretty cool to me.
