Hello, I'm new to the carbineer profession and looking for a little advice on what the best way to progress up the skill trees is. Any help from some vetran Carbineers would be greatly appreciated.

Your two shots to level with are BurstShot1 and FullAutoSingle2. Both of these are available at only 0010. After that go up Speed and Accuracy together with Speed being slightly more important until the 4th tier box. The 4th tier box of Accuracy is a HUGE bonus with +25.

NOVICE - FAS2

001X - BurstShot1

101X

111X

211X

221X

321X

341X

441X

Perhaps someone wouldmind helping me with a similar question?

Looking at my skill points I can hit novice Carbineer and have 17 points left over (no points put into Ranged Support). Any tips on what would be the most important boxes to take (inCarbineer or or the Marksman Ranged Support line)with those 17 points?

If it helps additional skills I haveare Master Creature Handler and master in a crafting profession.

I would go 1300 Carbineer and focus on buying speed-sliced carbines.

You're main attack should be fullautosingle2 but you will need to be buffed to use this.

If you do not have easy access to buffs, go for 0310 and your main attack will be burstshot1.

Accuracy, Accuracy, Accuracy.....get some SPEED man!!!

Huge accuracy gains with Scopes but speed sliced carbines don't help that much, IMO. Of course who cares how fast you can fire if you never hit anything.....

+5 or +10 speed isn't really going to improve that much below +50. As you get close to +75 it makes a huge difference. Play around with it on your spreadsheet (plug) and you will see why I say ignore it and go with accuracy.

BAH

Your point is CRYSTAL clear and I am just busting your balls in hopes to get that post count up for YOU......since the first fix to Carbineer was your 1000th post we gotta hurry to that 2000th post.

I suppose I shouldn't confuse the others around here, Nova is 100% right. The move from +60 to +65 Carbine Speed is only 0.2 seconds for an awful lot of skill points at Master Marksman or lot of work for attachments. I spent months and millions to get +25 in attachments and it was worth every penny.

Thanks for the advice. For some reason I've always liked carbines, glad to know I'll be picking them back up again.
