i thought more damage =more xp

Scatter fires much faster than cripple, so that cripple can hit harder on individual shots its got like 2x or more dly than a regular shot.


IMHO speed is going to be the greatest factor to increasing damage on any weapon type.Overall dmg rating is second. i.e. its better to get a speed slice than a dmg slice on a weapon. I sliced 8 laser carbs before getting one with a semi-decent speed slice, and have used that nonstop since.


Yes, xp is related to dmg done. If you get more xp from using scatter, thats because its doing more dmg overall than cripple, and thats because of the speed of your refire.
