Carbineer is set to have +116 or so counter-attack at master, and there are some accuracy mods.

It was really disappointing to hear, but combat kind of got jipped again to deal with some other issues. Modifiers were added but that's basically about it. I'm pretty sure there isn't any real big issue addressed other than mods.

In other words, things were delayed, again. Well.. I hope that they make it to the next patch and no other things pop up and delay it any further. Every combat profession is waiting for these changes to come. It's been a while for us, though. We even didn't get the spelling adjusted.

"but combat kind of got jipped again to deal with some other issues."

Well if thats true SOJ, I think that just spelled the end of my subscription to this game. I think you've donea great job, but the correspondants as a whole seem to be getting nothing to very little changed, and it's not their fault. The devs simply can't get their priorities right.

They want to keep introducing new content such as mounts and player cities while exsisting fundamental parts of the game are completly broken(professions and combat). They are just throwing some mods at us to appease us until they finally get around to to doing that combat fix they keep talking about.

Me counterattacking more or having slightly better accuracy does not make up for the downright appalling bugs carbineers, and almost every other profession have. I still will kill myself in less than 10 shots without doctor buffs. Legshot3 still does nothing more than legshot2. The most appealing attack for our profession, charge shot 2, still does not work. Most of our skills are useless and redundant. How many ranom pool damage attacks can you?

I know Thunderheart was brought on board to make some new correspondant program, but a little too late it seems. This game has been out for what 4 months now, and nothing has really been fixed for us and many professions. I dont really feel one guy can adequalty work with 30 professions though, and I've heard some devs handle up to 11 professions.

I've been a carbineer since day one. None of these bugs are new. They have all been reported and documented and research hundreds of times by you, and numerous players. There is no excuse for them not being fixed. None.

I think combat balancing and issue fixingis pretty high on their priority list, I really do. However, I think they're more into getting vehicles, cities, mounts and etc.. to please players and bring out some new things.

I don't really think the mods were thrown out to appease us but rather thrown out as part as something bigger, which unfortunately didn't make the cut. So we're just left with mods and nothing else.

I understand they wanted to push mounts and player cities. But thats exactly the problem.

Fixing professions should been at the very top of their list. Above everything. Every profession forum is full of angry and frustrated players who just want their profession to *work*.

They can keep saying " Its coming, just be patient" or " we are working on a new correspondant foum" but the point is after 4 months they have not been able to fix the basics of this game.

I've never seen a game released with such bugs. I really havent. I've played Ultima Online, Meridian 59, Everquest, Planetside, and more I probably cant remember. They might of all been buggy, and had server stability problems, but I can't recall being confronted with the basic gameplay not working. It wasnt like in UO I couldnt grab a sword and go kill something. That worked. Balance might of been out of wack, but balance is a tough thing in online games so I am lenient with that.

It's like everything players are asking for is being sucked into a black hole never to be seen again. How many times do we have to do "What our problems are" or " what we want fixed". This is no blast against SOJ or any correspondant, its just the system is a joke. Our concerns have not changed since day 1. If you asked me when I started this game whats wrong with my profession, it would of been almost exactly the same.

They can keep saying "good things are coming" but the fact is its been 4 months. I dont like their attitude towards the players who are CUSTOMERS as well. They are stingy with information and wont let you, our correspondants, tell us much thats very usefull. I understand they dont want to be commited to changes they might end up not doing, but they need a better system. I pay them money, and so do all of us, we deserve answers and to know what the hell they are doing. Not to mention they seem horribly understaffed, which makes no sense to me. How much money does this game draw in? Why dont have they a developer for each profession who speaks directly to the correspondant to fix things? Yeah I know Thunderheart is there to do that, but he can't possible know about all the professions, and he doesnt have a clue about many, which isnt his fault. One person can't adequelty keep up with the problems of 30 professions.

Something drastic needs to change and Im not sure even that will save this game. I find myself not logging on anymore really because there is just nothing to do.

I couldn't agree with you more Aram1.There are so many frustratedplayers right now who think as I do that any new content willbe just as bugged as the current content so why add it. Take the time and fix what we have and then add new content. I am sure most of us would gladly wait for mounts and vehicles, and whatever else if we were told fixing all professionsis the number1 priority. I'll bet the community would be a lot more carefree and happy.

Well, I guess that puts me even closer to quitting the game. Let's be realistic: if no substantive fixes are made to the carbineer in this patch, we're easily looking at a December-January timeframe for the next big patch to go through. How many of you want to wait another 2-3 months to get fixed?

Kudos to TH for sticking his head in here, but he basically gave us the same story. He had no idea what's wrong with us, which is sad since Q stepped in here over two months ago and hehad no clue what's wrong with us. I'm sure SOJ is doing a good job spreading the word, but I don't think the Devs are listening.

It's almost insulting after 4 months when a dev pops in and says " So whats wrong with you guys" or something akin to that. Or "well check into it". Most of us have already checked into it. They tell us how skills are "working" and we tell them they arent, and nothing happens.

Like they said " Well legshot3 should be a 1.5x greater damage modifer and be a cone effect" in response to our "legshot3 is broken". That in no way actually solves anything. They simple state what they intended, and we tell them the reality, and nothing gets done. Its almost humerous.

And like whoever posted above me said, if they do fix us in the next big patch, thats months aways. What do we do in the meantime?

New content just introduces new bugs. Look at the warren. That thing was so bugged it was ridiculous and it took weeks for them to fix it. Player cities and mounts are just going to unleash a new wave of bugs, I'm not saying its not neat content, but it just makes the problem worse when there are so many known exsisting bugs.

Then they will spend weeks maybe months fixing that new content they released, and push "combat fixes" back to the next patch.

I wouldnt take this kind of service from any other company, its interesting MMORPGs get away with it. If my car was being worked on, and they told me "Oh we have to work on this car that just came in before we work on yours, even though youve been here all day" I'd yell at them and take my business elsewhere. Maybe a bad analogy, but essentially the same situation.

Tons of stuff in this game doesnt work, and they are just introducing more things which will potentially not work as well.

the problem is the people bitch more and more about being no content and start leaving. But if you basic frigging stuff doesnt work right off the bat, then how the hell are you able to do anything with content.
