Hello, I am a new Carbineer and I was wondering what the tips are to leveling quickly in this profession. It took me a fair amount of time to even get to Carbineer; I was wondering if it could be done a little more effieciently. Also, what are the prime hunting spots and game of choice? Thanks a lot!

The fastest way to master carbinier is to hunt on Dathomir.
Get yourself a good krayt Laser carbine with a damage slice.
Level CH so that you can control a graul mauler. (most people have this already)
Head to the north outpost on Dathomir and run to the nightsister island.
Hunt Kamuriths, Spider Hunters, Gaping Spiders, anything red (except nightsister groups).
Carbinier was one of my holo professions and I mastered it in a week here.
Enjoy.

If you have a dizzy attack with another weapon, keep that in mind and wait for chargeshot1, this kd will be very helpful at fort tusken. If having CH isn't within the realm of possibility for you (it wasnt for me) then you'll need that other xp grind route.

I too was told Master Carbineer (oh joy). I was at the time a CH with 1-1-1-0, and since am 2-2-1-0 using Graul, but at 1-1-0-0 you can use Makloks, which when full grown are excellent tanks with about 7k HAM. I ran numerous surface marshall missions, and took on a number of other big adversaries using my tanks, nomrally getting about 1k xp for carbs with each kill, although I did waste alot of newb mobs for quick easy close to town xp. I'll have grinded novice carbineer in 4 days without macros, or too much time in game, maybe 2 hours tops a day. After this I'm just going to master marksman, then probably pistoleer to get it out of the way, just in case, so I can get all my combat professions out of the way first
