Thread: How much would You pay for a Krayt DXR6?

Just because it has tissues does not make it uber. It depends on the damage and speed on the tissues. The basic + 30 damage and /3 speed tissues are not all that great but if you get some tissues with 1.XX speed ill pay a couple mil...Would rather have it as an elite personaly though as its genraly a faster carbine so it works better for pvp. THe acid damage helps in pvm though but who needs a kryte for pvm.
The problem with the elite and DXR6 carbines is that they take so many tissues. Even at +30/-0.3, seven or six same-serial tissues are going to set you back a good bit of credits. And then there's still a chance of a crit fail during any part of the assembly and/or experimentation. If you make it that far a bad slice can ruin your shiny new (and extremely expensive) carbine.
Considering the randomness of slicing, I'd honestly reccomend getting a bunch of Nym slugthrowers and trying for that great slice rather than spending the cash on a basic (+30/-0.3) krayt DXR6 and chancing a mediocre slice. As for the elite, the appeal to that weapon is the tight damage range for use in PvP, and using krayt tissues on it is going to expand that range more, allowing ranged mitiagation to take a higher toll on it.
When it comes to krayt carbines, I keep to E11's, EE3's and lasers. Just my 2cr.

As far as using tissues in weapons i only do this with pvp weapons. Usualy a mob has time for another shot or two...And for what i have to pay for tissues id rather not use em up shooting bases : )
But wen picking out tissues all i look for is speed. Damage is nice and all, wouldent turn down tissues saying "they add to much damage" lol. But the speed is what i like. Using a 30/.3 tissue you can almost compleatly rule out the speed penalty for an advanced stock (thats about .,4x) and still have the 40/40 min max damage boost to the weapon (on my server anyway). Wen its all said and done just by adding that stock to the weapon i gain 40/70 damage and only slow the weapon down .1x. Now if i had a tissue with say 1.xxx speed. immagen an elite carbine with 220/300 damage and a 1.8 speed !!!
