Wow, did the holo actually spell it "carabineer"? That's how the profession forum was spelled for a long time and was listed as one of our "fixes" at the time when they changed it to "carbineer", lol.

Do the line that gives accuracy first, then divide your points between speed and defenses, and of course learn the stuff that takes combat XP as you can. And yes... get a pet, unless you have a good friend that's a brawler who is willing to tank for you. I just gave up creature handling and I seriously regret it now. If I'm not in a group or buffed or fighting beginner level stuff, I die.

And I feel your pain... I'm doing carbine for a holo as well.

I had a Force sensitive character, with 23 and a half boxes ground out.
I had a master creature handler.
I had a high lvl crafter character.
I had a Bounty Hunter that I hunted PC Jedi with.

My game is dead.

Hehe, the final nail in the carbineer coffin would be if the game stopped recognizing the people who master 'carbineer" as having mastered 'carabineer".

Then even the hologrinders wouldn't bother

Get CH and use them to tank for you while you grind. Only advise I can offer at this time.

Holo Carbineer here aswell (and i can tell you it is no fun)

I did following:

0013 (i thought i would need burst shot, but fullautosingle2 is better)
1013
2013
3013
4014 (here i switched to scattershot2 as i seem to bring down criters faster with it)
4114
4214
4314 (thats where i am now)

I killed savage Quenkers and Huurtons on Dantooine ( and i guess i have killed them all right now *g*) I was always buffed and had some muongold with me for emergencies. I didnt need a full set of armor, but i always wear a good kinetic helmet.

Believe me grinding is slow but hy it is a game

Ah i frgot: Just get u a good DH17 carbine (well better 3) with a good slice and about 20 crates of powerups. It seems to be the best carbine for leveling with above mentioned critters (fast and a pretty good damage)

Thanks for the advise guys. I'm Master CH so the thanks are taken care of. Now its the 30m grind while my tank BE Rancor does more damage than me....

GL to all us unfortunate Carbs.

I started this profession in the hopes it would be decent after the patch and now im almost finished i may as well continue....I also do savage quenkers on dant fully buffed with occasional muon (no tanks for me) but I have Bio-engineer so I can speed up the mission with a dna death or 2 jus to make sure i dont get double teamed. Qenkers are good to work on with a decent dxr6 as they only spawn 2 of em each wave and they give good xp for their ease. I'd recommend getting cripple shot (marksmanship 3) as this is a pretty good attack to pound the enemies with. open with a action shot to attempt to keep em still for a while and u should win no probs.

Same story here:

Doc buffs, kinetic armor, savage quenkers, couple c12's , laser carbine w/speed powerups and FullAutoSingle2. Monotonous, but effective. Firget the hurtons if possible, too many stuns and have to use the acid carbine which are generally weak. If you see me near imp outost invite for the group bonus, no need to hunt together tho
