i have +165 counterattack from carbineer and swordsman, and i've noticed i dont counterattackduring combatas much as i think i should. is something wrong with it? do dodge and block work effectively?

p.s. i'm not an idiot, i know i have to have a carbine or heavy sword equipped

im master carbineer and 0030 swordsman, that gives me +165 counterattack. fighting the various mobs on dantooine to lvl up in swordsman and killing stormies for fp, i dont seem to counterattack as much as +165 should. maybe one counterattack out of every 15 attacks. is something wrong with it? is it not very effective in pve? i havent really tried in pvp yet.
