I see everyone complaining about Publish 6 and how it nerfed chargeshot1 and I just dont get it. I am 1,3,1,4 Carbineer and was at the tusken fort yesterday using chargeshot1. Yes it doesn't give the knockdown animation everytime now when you use it, only when you land it. I did notice that unlike before the tuskens were not shooting me when I knocked them down, and I normally had time to hit them with crippling shot twice before they got up. I dont have supper uber armor regular 80% kinetic and 60% base stats and I was buffed (although I give myself really crappy buff maybe 1 over 2k). I was able to solo warlords no problem. Crippling shot was working as advertised and hitting for alot more while they were knocked down normally 3k to 3500. Before, since stuff was not really knocked down I never noticed the hit bonuses. I also tried it out on a friend of mine with defense stacks and knocked him down and crippling shot was doing 600 a tick. He was impressed not too many classes can hit him for that much damage. Anyways I am enjoying carbineer and plan to keep it. I am looking forward to master and hopefully the next patch when they fix the stuff (if they do).

Yes cripple shot seem to be working well tho charge shot 1 seems to have an issue. When I used it esp as an opening attack I would be charged the HAM hit for it but not execute the attack not in the combat log nor was there an animation for it. Seems to work noramally if not part of the opening attck tho.

I like to start off with action shot one and two and see if I can get stuff kneeling before I use chargeshot1. I dont know if it makes a difference or not but it seems to land more often. I love hitting prone npcs with chargeshot cause they stand up before they flip over backwards and the animation just cracks me up. I will have to try leading an attack with it and see if I have the same problem you described. I just realized reading today that the action shot 1&2 are no longer stacking. I have noticed they reduced the bleed but was unaware the stacking was gone... Did they take away all bleed stacking?

I think there is a weird issue with KD in that is the target is KD and you hit them with a KD special, they get up. So if you spam chargeshot, you KD them down, then stand them up again. I have reported this to the Devs.
I never open with chargeshot since the first shot is almost always free anyway. I open with burst1 or fullautosingle2 then chargeshot...etc.

K i'll spell it out for yas. Charge shot will knock down a tusken, but say he gets back up, you have 30 seconds before it has a CHANCE to knock them down again. If it says "your attack failed to knockdown your target" then your target did not go down. Previously the target would have hit the ground.
So basically yes before it was "broken" and now it is "fixed." Unfortunately barely anything else about the class is working as intended and the previous state of charge shot was what kept people alive in many, many situations. Carbineer is now the worst combat class, pvp wise and i'm assuming pve wise as well. Without BH carbine the speed is terrible at master and no where near fast enough to inflict any significant damage (pvp.)
So thats basically the "nerf" -- a fix that came way too early

I still can spam ChargeShot1 on some melee class PC's with the same effect as before patch. Just because the KD timer was changed and the stealth change to % hit of ChargeShot1, don't think the posture to prone doesn't happen.
Don't read the patch notes and believe anything, things don't work as they read and many things go LIVE that never get listed.
