Thread: So where are the weaponsmiths that make quality carbines?

This really isn't the forum for posting this request. The Weaponsmith and Shadowfire forums would be much better.
In general there are so few Carbineers that Weaponsmiths don't stock them, almost all of mine are custom orders.
On Scylla, Naargo, Towelle (Helios), Sauren,Bear- (Anchorhead), Elani (temporarily unavailable) and a new shop on Corelliamake and stockgood carbines.I haveseveral lasers withjust slightly better stats than yours for similar HAM values.
Good Elites are more difficult to find than lasers, E11's or DH17's (too bad for me because the Elite is my favorite).
Naargo and Towelle in Helios sell the new bleed-enhanced E11 at a very reasonable price (20k) compared to Bear- and Sauren (110k and up).

HUH? Why not?
We use Carbines...we had to get them from SOMEWHERE!
Someone sold them to us..this guy wants to know where you bought your Carbine! 
This board is a BETTER place to ask that question than the weaponsmith forum because AS YOU STATED not all weaponsmiths make a lot of carbines because they aren't that popular...
EVERYONE in this forum uses a Carbine...

Thanks Nova and I also meant very few weaponsmiths visit here too.

I just let people use a cut/paste rather than have the possibility of a dead link.

I stopped using them because if you edit the post it kills the link.
Well if you wrote the first post correctly the first time....you wouldn't have to edit them all 
Sorry Guys I didn't think it would be such a problem or cause so much conflict posting my request here. The reason I posted here was because I figured this was the place to ask Carbineers where they purchased their weapons from reliable weaponsmiths instead of getting posts from someone looking to make a buck and not caring about the person using the weapon. My bad.
I will be sure to post on the Trade boards. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hmm, I'm aware of the trade forums, but I still agree with Flynn. It would be nice to have in the Carbineer forum a sticky user-compiled list of skilled and not-too-greedy carbine makers on each server. Such a list would be much better at promoting competition and fair pricing among ws than ws ads. In addition, browsing or even searching the trade and galaxies forums is getting less practical every day (I mean, people fight with /bump to keep their posts visible). Finally, presumably everybody here is interested in carbines, so it's not off-topic, so I don't see what the problem is
I certainly would like other carbineers on scylla to share their sources here.

Too bad you aren't on bloodfin....I know of a shop where sliced carbines are sold, and they're cheap too (15k - 25k for most). Nothing extraordinary, but I'd say they're above average
My E-11 I got from there fires at around 3.0 speed and does I think 135 - 185 damage. This may even be 2.8 speed, I don't remember exactly, but either way it's still pretty good I think
My Laser from there does 80 - 309 damage at 3.0 speed.
And an EE3 I got from their does 139 - 280 damage at 3.1 speed
I'll probably be going back for an acid rifle and an elite carbine in the near future...

This is impractical. There are over 2 dozen servers. If players post 5 smiths from each server thats 125 posts not including the constant "oh I found a new smith" and the "oh that guy quit the game" posts. In a week that thread would bloat out so bad it would become inpractical and after a week or 2 it would be outdated.
The Devs gave us trade forums for a reason.
