man, i was doing the holo grind for a long time and basicly got sick of it.

so last week I picked up carbine again(what i was before the holo dance) and trained to 0004.

all I have to say is thank god I still had my old carbines. been browsing shops all over and (if they have a single carbine) they seem to basicly be of low grade. about the best xp grinder i can find is a 2.4 spd 271 dam lazer. compared my dx/ee3/e11 to what is out there now and was shocked to see that either I had some top end weapons or no one on our server has bothered to progess our carbines much in the last few months, in fact most of my 2-3 month old carbines are better then what is out there now. too bad my 422 max lazer cr&pped out on a repair.

So please anyone from flurry let me know where to look that I have missed

yes flynn, because it would be a dam shame if someone actually was helpful on a carbinner question. Man(looks at what board he is on) sheesh(looks around again) sorry to be such a burred to you and Nova(since you seem to speak in his name) next time why dont ya read the title of the thread and just skip on by if this bothers you so much

BTW thank you to the people who were helpful and gave me some ideas of where to look.

This post (in a round about way) does address an issue though, from day one it has been a **edit** to find carbines. top that off our "elite" carbine can be matched by a half ass good smith by making a e11(yes the range mods are different).

Why do carbines basicly need the resources of a rifle, rare ones that are capped at that to end up doing the damage of a pistol? All the weaponsmiths I talked to have given me the naswer that they basicly hate to make carbines because of the number of parts they use and the sort of resources needed.

I love that we are getting some much needed fixing this next patch, but once that is done how about un gating the top end resources needed to make our carbines?

just look at the elite compared to a t21 now our elite is basicly a zipped up e11 carbine, so how do you think the rifleman community would react if their t21 only matched the power of an e11 rifle?
