I usually don't stand, I know my role. I take a seat and watch from the sidelines.

Having played commando, BH, swordsman, fencer, rifleman and pistoleer- Heavy Swordsman and Rifleman can dominate the most while BH's can dominate in the new DW bunker. Out of curiousity, I would like to know how you master Carbineers manage through the Geonosian cave, bunker and other theme parks, Krayt or Nightsister raids.

Knowing Nightsister Elders has less resists to blast and energy, would a Laser Carbine work well on them, and would a DXR6 or Slugthrower be better in the Geo cave? I'm curious because I am working on a new toon for Carbineer and Ranger and might get a little of Fencer or TKA. And I really like the titles the Carbineer profession has, I'm going to carry the Assaulter title.

Usually on the high end enemies, asside from those nightsisters we can't damage, I just stand there and spam scattershot 2 seemingly forever. We can't add any states to these high level mods we can only do damage. I can typically outdamage commandos (assuming they are using LP, FT, or HAR), TKMs, Fencers, and Pistoleers due to our AP2, but my damage output pales in comparrison to Riflemen and swordsmen.

I of course being a carbineer/BH carbs fire at the speed cap, a straight carbineer would have a significantly lower damage output.

I personally prefer a good DRX6 in geo cave other a Laser carbine. Crazed genosian are vulnerable to acid and DRX6 has better accuracy at short range. But aginst Kwi/klikniks a laser carbine might be better (at least if you dont' miss a lot with it) since those are AR2 (cut damage of DRX6 with 50% for AP < AR penalty)

Carbine's vs Battledroids is like putting a BB Gun against a full auto cannon. Took a tour of the Death Watch Bunker (Master Carbineer/ Bounty Hunter Carbine 3 is my current standing). Used a DXR on the Battledroids and still was barely denting them and the Super Battle Droid had a resist of 30% to Acid if I remember right.

I've discovered with a lot of high end content I can get more done by spamming petstims and stimpack Cs on my CL68 Gurreck than I can shooting my carbine. The three damage types we have are just too heavily resisted to do much of anything.

There are exceptions (Heat vulnerable Danteri, Rancors that fall like flies to my Enhanced E11 and whatnot), but I am running into an insane number of Nightsister varieties that are quite simply undamagable by carbines.

As far as the Corvette or DWB. I don't even bother, I just cannot cause a functional level of damage.
