Thread: Dropping Ranged Support Tree at Master Level

Ok, there seems to be alot more master level carbineers out there now so I'd like everyone's opinion again. I just recently reached Master Carbineer and Master Doctor, however, my resources business has gone in the dumper cause I can't survey, and I can't harvest any meats from my prey without scouting. So, I'd like your opinion, at Master level carbineer, is it worth it to drop the ranged support line under marksman to free up points elsewhere. I plan on doing mostly PvE, but still some PvP as well. All opinions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I dropped the ranged support even before I began as a carbineer. I'm 2/4/1/3 now and have been doing just fine, so I think you can safely drop it

Not that much good in it when you think of it.

as a master carbineer, why in the world would you want to keep the ranged support tree? Action shot does the same effect as suppression fire, not to mention you have suppression fire 2 in carbineer. Warning shot is almust useless compared to charge shot...Be gone with the ranged support

I had a feeling that this tree would be worthless at Master level. Anyone disagree?

the specials are useless to a master carbineer and most of the mods only give bonus's to carbine aiming which only modifies the 'aim' special which i didnt even use before novice carbineer..

drop it, its useless.

OK, thanks everyone. Looks like I'm dropping it. I'll have enough points that way to switch between novice artisan and novice scout Thanks again.

On a similar note, what about picking up Master Marksman? I am working towards that right now, any thoughts there?
