Thread: Past nerfs?
- actionshot2 damage was reduced (around 1-2 publish)
- HAM cost on knockdown specials raised
- posture changes on 30 secondtimer
- knockdowns given 30 second timer
- range damage mitigation harshly effects our best carbine (laser carbine) making it non-ideal in PvP. Second choices are barely better than pistols in damage yet much slower.
Please list any you can think of. I want this list to be as long and as inclusive as possible.

What about us being left out of the Defense vs XXX modifiers? Not a nerf exactly but still takes us further out of an effective fight.
Hey nova, how about you quit your bitching and get over whats happened in the past.Most of the so-called "nerfs" you listed affected all combat professions, not just you precious carbineers.
So how about you get your head out of your ass, and provide the devs with constructive ideas on how to not just improve, but balance your profession... like fixing that obscenely exploited charge shot? Or is it asking too much to remove your uber bugged special.
The poster above seems very angry for no reason. I am not a carbineer. I do think its funny that people think carbines are overpowered though. You can macro your way out of charge shot in pvp......
I haven't seen a carbineer on my server in PvP for a long time. While a spammable knockdown looks cool, it is not as cool as shooting9 people for 800 points of damage with one shot (strafe shot 2). Or mind poisoning and mind diseasing 20 people for 20 incaps. Or using dizzy/knockdown and then spitting rawl until incap. Or spraying a cone of fire on someone for 1700 points of damage + fire dot. I must confess that I would want to try carbines if I ever had to do master bh. However, I would rather do several other templates that seem far more l33ter.

You know me man, I'm with ya all the way. Showing these itens makes the point that Carbines could use some lovin. Keep on Keepin' on Nova.

Dude. The thing works as much as a normal kd works so get over it. It changes your posture if it doesn't and you keep on fighting. As far as anyone "obscenely" exloiting charge shot. I have seen one person. I have been a carbineer since November and been playing since Aug.
As far as uber bugged. Well the devs say it works as intended so get over it. Go home and cry to momma cause your getting no sympathy here.
