Thread: What to drop

well, I was wandering aimlessly through the professions until the Holo told me Carbineer.
So now I focus, Carbineer, hmm what to put with it, well I was already maxed in skill levels for Scout so I picked up CH.
Here I am with one skill point left and needing things to give up.
Me:
Master Marksman
Master Scout
CH 3/3/1/1
Carbine 0/4/0/1
Novice Medic
Novice artisan
If I give up the Medic can I still use -B packs?
if so then it is most likly the first to go.
I need to keep Artisan because that's how I make the money. (Energy Seller)
do I start dropping some of the Marksman... rifles
or the 2 trees in Scout: trapping and wilderness survival (prefer not to, as master Scout help the CH prof)
thanks for the input
Losing Novice Medic takes away ALL stim's.
I would drop Novice Artisan first. You can easily hire somebody or get a friend to locate radioactive and it is 15 skill points that costs no XP and only 100 cr. After that drop the Scout skills. I would hold on to them in case your next holo said Ranger. Trapping and Camping are A LOT easier to get back than Pistol and/or Rifle in Marksman.
I don't have Master Scout, how does it help CH? Not that I have the skill points for that ![]()
BTW, 0401 in Carbineer is weak. Get BurstShot1 ASAP as it does the same DPS as CripplingShot with half the HAM cost. And if you hunt with other professions in your group, pickup ScatterShot1 next. In my opinion the Speed modifier is more important than Accuracy, but they are very close in importance.

Well, as a Master Scout and you do an examine it tells you the CL of the creature.
Not overly important but useful.
and thanks for the input...
I agree scout skills are easier to come by than the pistol, or rifle

Not sure why I need to know CL?
