Hey guys,

I have recently become a carbineer and currently my stats are based on my old rifleman stat migration. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good statistic-layout for carbineer? I am planning on keeping this as my only combat profession, and any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

well it realy depends on play style. Are you a medic? Do you alwase seak out buffs? If yes to either of these than your secondaries on health and action can be quite low because buffed they dont matter and if you can heal you can deal with higher ham costs and slow regen with good meds. But if your going the medic rout id max your secondaries on mind or you might find yourself short wen you need it.

If your going with sompthing els other than medic and not seeking buffs than id try to find a good balance. Get high hams and try to keep your secondaries at an acceptable level. Action will be the hard one because of the mad ham cost on carbines atm. Where you can pull points from is your regen rates...Basicly how long are you willing to sit there for them to fill up. If you can handle just novice medic i think you would realy like it. Just get some good stims so you can heal 70% of your hams per shot almost every time.

hey quandry, I'm also a master doc working on carbines - did you max you secondary mind stats? I have a bit more mind pool to play with as a mon cal, and buffs are no problem. I'm curious what other MD's do to balance out a combat profession.

Yes i maxed my secondary stats for mind, both of them. Its hard to find good mind buffs now adays with all the holo grinders...id pay well for them if i could find them withought spending 2 hours doing it lol. That way i dont need to worry about it for pvm unless i get in a lot of fights. For pvp i eat lots of mind food. Sevral of my enemies are quite surprised and dissapointed wen they realise my mind is near 3k and regens like lightning :0)

All the players in my group have their health, action and secondaries at minimums and mind at 1000 with 1000 for its secondaries.

Then, one of our two doctors buff us, or we pay for buffs.

Refer to the Sticky'd posts on specials and/or look at my spreadsheet http://www.tafirehawk.com/GoA/Carbineer%20Actual%20Speed%20and%20Damage%20Table.xls

HAM cost hits everything hard....

Stat Migration, impossible....foodor buffs are the only thing to stop you from killing yourself, period.
