Thanks for the input. Anyone else?
On a side note, about how much would you expect a DXR6 to cost?
I can't survive without all three, don't do any serious PvE hunting without the ability to punch through armor and/or resistances. We don't have the damage type selection of pistols, but you should have them all.

I carry 5 carbines as well, a DXR6, DH17 Short, E11, Laser, and Elite... and they all have their uses...
most of the time I'm using my DH17 due to the high DPS (but it has no AP at all), soI switch to the DXR6 and Laser a great deal for the Acid/AP
Just three here: Elite, E11 and DH17
The Elite is a PvP weapon or heavy clean up PvE weapon (High resist/HAM armored targets)
The E11 is my standard duty weapon for PvE. High speed for status, armor piercing for high end MOBs.
The DH17 is a light duty weapon. Per a recommendation from Nova, its a lair buster, although its higher damage and higher rate of fire than the E11 make it a superior unarmored MOB killer.
High end MOB's using an E11???? Don't do that on Dath around 10-20 Rancors of various types, only a DXR6 will keep you alive. AND if I want to use Energy on high end MOB's, who usually have light to medium armor, the Laser is the gun of choice. Min damage may be low, but DPS is way better on light and medium armor targets.
