Like the title sais: what exactly does stun do? the description sais that it make your target miss an attack every other round.. or something like that. I have never noticed anything of that effect though..

According to the manual Stun applies penalties to defense.

I can attest that it hurts your defense mods. as a TK, I take damage faster when I'm stunned.

I think I'll look into it myself. Just stun with LegShot 2(3) and attack with cripple shot and see if I can do more damage than my current max which is I think a little over 2.7k.

I believe that one thing it does is take away one turn of combat when you are inflicted (easy to check- just get stunned and hold your cursor over the icon.) The other part which I am much more confident about is that it makes you easier to hit. States are inflicted more easily and ranged/melee defenses go down as well. How much exactly, I dunno. Sorry, not the best explanation, but hopefully you get a better idea now. If I come across some real numbers anywhere, I'll put 'em here for ya

Stun means that stunned target attacks slower. Not sure of the exact number but it appears to be about half as often. So if you were attacking every second, got stunned, then you would be attacking every two seconds. Though I don't know if the delay goes from your true speed or from the speed cap speed (if you are at it of course).
It also appears to make you easier to hit by lowering you defenses.

Actually, I do not think this is correct. Theonly information I have seen on a delay related to Stunis that it delays the target for one combat round. That is,it would make the target skip one shot, not have a continous delay. The main thing Stun does is that it lowers the target defenses. Getting a stun on a target with high defenses makes it much easier to hit. This is why it is important to get a Stun on a defense stacker.

I'm fairly certain it causes a continuous delay for as long as the Stun effect is active. I've been grinding Unarmed for TKA on Huurton Huntress missions. They do stun attacks. I've noticed that when it happens I'm attacking slower. I'll have to measure how much exactly this week when I continue the grind. Could just be perception on my part.
But I'll double check and post here.

war cry completely stops ur attacks for a lil, intimidate slows down how fast u attack, stun lowers defense though. stun will also keep ppl from burst running away from ya

I tested it , Stun ,when you stun a player (no other State Effects on him) delays only the next attack by 1 second.Stun with Intimidate, intimidate will halve the targets damage , the added stun will half that dmg on top of that. So if you intimidate a guy doing 100dmg it will go to 50, and stun him it will go to 25.Stun has no affect on the targets dmg alone as a state effect.Stun does not affect Burst Run ,Dizzy does, you cannot Burst run while Dizzy.I have novice fencer for some Def stacking so I drop intimidate 1 on single target fights with a flushing follow up. Works well if they KD you , they hit you for Crap Dmg and you have plenty of time to take thakatilo and get up and kill them.Another nice Combo is to use Flurry , dizzy them and kite , or use supression 1 from marksman to posture change , if they stand they will fall 70% of the time , Rifleman Dizzy is very strong for a KD from posture change.Every profession has Diffferent levels of the same state effect, Fencer Dizzy is the strongest Dizzy for all clases and last the longest and will KD from posture Change more often than not, thier Blind is also nothing to Laugh at.
