Here is my suggestion.

How are states applied. What aspect of the weapon causes the state to apply better, Is it Damage, Accuracy, Damage type/vulerability , or just random chance of applying.

End of question

The reasons for this is that, As carbineer I use several weapons depending on range and resistences. If my goal is to apply states am I better off using a fast accurate carbine (CDEF experimented on accuracy/speed), or a High Damage Carbine (Laser carbine), or a damage type that the target is vulnerable.(DRX6 carbine - acid).

Think its something Accuracy vs State def... How long it sticks is I have no theory about...

But since most people use a low speed weapon to apply state effects, its probably got little to do with damage...
Just anohter theory backed up by some thought...

In the ranger forum we were ask what to ask Thunderheart (i think thats his name, I know his initials are TH).

Every 2 weeks we (Each Profession) could submit an official question and get an answer. Most asked question like " What are you going to do about..." which never got a solid answer, because he does not know trhe answer and does not want to get hopes up. I thought a Simple question which someone who can look at the code could easily giver a DEFINITE answer would be nice.

Does anyone have a better question???

Perhaps, is it intentional that carbines only have 3 damage types?

The problem is, any question you think of "COULD" be given a "wait till xyz and you'll see"

These 19 questions seem to be going no where fast.
