Say guys I just started Carbineer, and at first it looked like fun, but the xp is soooo slow. And going to Fort Tusken isnt helping because there are too many people running around there. Does anyone know a way to get your Carbine xp a bit faster than1k per 4 minutes?

Well how difficult are they when you are 1100? I mean there has to be a standard amount of xp per 30 min or so. I hate it when you shoot a creature for 1136xp and then have to wait and heal for 5 min.

You should try to get a good 70% kinetic resist Ubese armor then you should get buffed. Its so much better this way than going without. Novice medic is always good to have.

Use speed sliced weapons, preferable a Laser Carbine as main weapon.

Without armor and buffs you have to fight very easy monsters which gives low XP.

Do you have good carbines?

I had a WS make me max damage refardless of HAM because im a doc

but i got 3 boxes in 5 hrs

It is alot faster to 2 get missions in opposite directions and run to each one and kill everything on the way

Well tahts how I grind and it is pretty effective

Quenkers is the fastest route with either buffs or some arrakagm (whatever its called that boosts action stats)

If you are running unbuffed make sure u get burst shot asap as the other specials are ridiculously hiigh in ham costs. To be honesti wouldnt even attempt it without buffs and yes i found it frustratingly slow even with buffs and decent amour and above average weapons certainly compare with other clases.. Worst combat profession of all i felt.

No disrespect to the career carbineers who have without doubt got iron testacles.

Do you have acid carbines (Nym's or DXr-6's). If not, get some. There are many more high-xp creatures with low acid resist (or no acid resist at all) than there are with low energy or heat resist. Most people will recommend Quenkers on dant, but at some point you should move on to Endor (many high-level creatures with no acid resist on that planet) or Dath (Regular rancors don't like acid at all) Below is something I posted in the bh forum yesterday. Hope it helps. Crazed Geos have low acid resist as well.

"Get a few decent acid carbines (DXR-6's, or Nym's if you're also a carbineer) and a few crates of speed/min dmg power-up's. Head to dant and start with Huurtons, Pikets and the infamous Quenkers. After a while, move on to Endor and start working your way up the Gurreck, Roba, Boar Wolf and Blurgg pecking orders (when it comes to Blurggs, stay away from Blurgg Raptors). When you're tired of Dant and Endor, head to Dath and switch to Rancors. Before going to Dath, get a decent EE3. It will come in handy against Giant Baz Nitches. Tired of hunting? Head to the Geo lab or Fort Tusken. Neither the Crazed Geos nor the Tuskens like acid much."

AddKilikniks on Yavin to the list of creatures that don't like acid.

For as long as I've been a carbineer I've fund it is preatty useless by itself because it's slow and has high HAM costs, but if you take BH carbines then it makes Carbineer one of the more dangerous professions, I can beat anyone in a battle 90% of the time except Rifleman and TKM, so if you want to make a career out of it I'd suggest to just get BH carbines 3 if ou want to do lots of PvP.
