Thread: Excited to use Crippling shot, but to slow?

I got it and i was only doin like 500-1700 dmg with it and it was much slower firing off then full auto single 2 or scatter shot 2. Is it always like this, btw i was thinking of stopping with carbineer grinding that is, how is it at master ? pve wise, like against npc's and monsters cause right now its kind not to good.

Not sure if the info is in the FAQ or Special STICKY, but even at Master Carbineer FullAutoSingle2 is a higher DPS shot than Cripplingshot.
I suggest you read those two STICKY posts anyways

It wasn't until I got the BH Carbine speed that Cripplingshot got useful. Just like above poster said FullSingleAuto2 felt like the better attack.
If you can buy some speed tapes you'll find better use of Cripplingshot.

The above posters are correct. You either need the Bh carb speed or +25 in speed attachments and a nice krayt carbine. I have the +25 in speedto go with my very nice krayt elite and laser carbsand I can fire cripple at the 1 second cap. Unfortunately, you'll have to spend countless hours killing stuff and hoping for carbine SEA drops or have alot of cash to buy them on the trade forums.
