Well if your into the hologrind, yes of course it is. Like any combat profession, if you have thestamina to bear down and really work at it, it can be done in under a week easily. I just read today that TH said there will definatley be rewards for professions mastered in Pub 10.Go check out the FAQ for some tips. Buy some speed powerups and a nice Ubese suit.Use the e11 until you get to the laser. Shell out the credits for the buffs. Join a solo group on Dant. and start killing.

Carbine is a pain in the... to level. But I honestly like the profession its pretty good for crowd control.

This quest seems more deemed for the Jedi forums. The attitude of this forum is really towards being a carbineer because you enjoy using carbines. It is a fun prof, we all enjoy it alot. The grind shouldn't be that painful, who knows you might like it after you try it.

Carbineer is a serious pain to level. I dont agree with the last post really. Im on the Hologrind ATM and it allows you to discover the good things... and bad about professions you normally wouldnt do. Who knows, if carbineer is worked up to actually performing properly he may stick with it. I seriously recommend investing in some Nym's while your with carbineer, it makes things a lot more fun. As far as the grind goes, I wouldnt take carbs casually... get buffs and grind POIs as much as you can after you get a bar or two from quenker blasting. Good Luck with your carbine skills and may the revamp be nice to us all if we dont make the deadline (somehow i dought it).

Nym's Carbine sucks unless you are working on the Marksman Tree.....Get a great Speed sliced DXR6....

Carbineer is EASIER to level than Pistoleer. I am on my second Carbineer after doing Pistoleer and there is little comparison. In fact I was even out with a 1441 BH who was working on his LLC and I EASILY trippled his XP..... I am 3203 Carbineer on my second account. Although the rest of you shouldn't expect this much of a difference as I have MCH pets and maxed almost every single Skill Mod with SEA's

Oh yeah I have Krayt Carbines with Imp Stocks and Adv. Scopes.....

But the point remains the same, we are no worse to level than MOST of the other combat professions.....the key is using your MIND and BANK efficiently to maximize XP per hour.

Go read the FAQ.........Carbineer is not a PvP FotM but is no longer one of the worst combat profs either
